Only stayed here one night but it seemed like a pretty good option. Small room but had everything we needed. Close to the main town center and river. Breakfast was decent. No complaints overall. Convenient parking right next door.

Three years ago, i was here with my friend. Then fell in love with this place. Now it was nice to come. Ann was absolutely awesome and friendly. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The next time I come here, too.

i stayed at this lovely guest house for 2 weeks mid Oct 14, The first thing that you notice about this guest house is the lovely warm atmosphere as you enter the building, Once in you are greeted by the owner Ann who always has a welcoming smile to make you feel a home. The guest house is spotlessly clean... More

This little b&b is a hidden gem. We stayed in room 2 which was spacious and comfortable, the bed was do cosy I didn't want to get. I would highly recommend the cooked breakfast but everything on the menu is lovely. Ann the owner is a lovely friendly lady and is always an hand I'd needed. Will definitely stay here... More

the owner was very kind and patient. the breakfast was excellent and varied; very closed to downtown. ideal for visiting the city. We stayed one night in a pub to listen to the traditional scottish music according to the advice of the lady.

02/08/2014 - Spent the night in one of the most friendliest, cleanest and highly appointed B & B's (Room 1) We regularly take overnight stays all over Scotland and the Hawthorn Lodge commands the top spot to date, due the obvious great deal of effort and pride demonstrated during our visit. Exellent price, superb room(s) - all En-suite - great... More

Hawthorn Lodge is excellent value accommodation with a terrific position. It is located within easy walking distance of Inverness centre and, importantly for us, has good parking. But these advantages are dwarfed by the hospitality shown us - even a request that I thought was unreasonable was met positively. Thanks to our lovely host.

Very friendly hostess (Ann and her daughter), excellent conditions (room no 1) as well as location of this B&B, for good price. They have private car parking. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to Inverness.

Stayed for 1 night last week. Very clean. Ann was a great host - very friendly. Room was excellent - very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent - very substantial and kept us going for the rest of the day. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

We recently spent two nights here while visiting Inverness. It was great value for money, warm and welcoming and a short walk to the centre of the town. Breakfast was great and hostess, Ann, went above and beyond what would normally be expected of a b & b proprietor. We can thoroughly recommend Hawthorn Cottage to other people visiting inverness.
