I stayed at this B&B in October for two nights and was very pleased with all it offered. Jenny & Sandra were friendly & didn't bother me with endless chit chat as some B&B owners do but they were happy to help with information when asked. I found this refreshing as some owners tend to want to bombard you with... More

We spent one night at Fraser House driving down from the Orkneys. A little difficulty finding as the road beside river is having major work done. However we received a warm welcome and appreciated the kiwi connection! Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast well presented and nutritious.

I've just spent 2 nights at Fraser House, as was taking part in the recent (yesterday) Loch Ness marathon. First the good points.... - Easy to find - 7-10mins walk from Inverness train station - On the river Ness, which is very serene - Nice big window (room 2 - single room) where you could sit and just look out... Fraser house is located very close to the city centre, just across the river, but still far away enough to be very calm and quiet. We were five adults travelling together and had reserved two family rooms, because that was what was available at booking, but the owner was nice enough to only charge us for a double room and... I am totally agree with Reelman6. The woman that received us seems to be very shy. She didn't speak to us at all. And the breakfast was very normal. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, but they were almost not coocked at all. Appart from that, the price is a bit higher if you ask for a familiar room (£85). It's... More

Great b&b by the Ness river in Inverness. Very well kept, clean, spacious room overlooking the river. Right in the center of Inverness with all sites in a short walking distance. The breakfast was plentiful with the cereal, yogurt, and fruit starter and warm dish (of your choice) following. I would recommend this B&B for all my friends and visit... More

Introverts should not own/run B&Bs. The lady that we dealt with upon check in and breakfast could barely get a word out. She would only speak when spoken to, not at all like most proprietors we have encountered at many places. One of the reasons we stay at B&Bs is the interaction with the locals. Good- location, next to the... More

This was my first stay in Inverness (thanks to Castle Stuart Golf Course) after passing through for many years. In setting up the trip I was surprised at the relatively high cost of lodging there. I booked Fraser House simply based on it's location and price. It ended up being a wise choice. Despite the road in front being torn... More

Standard price of £70 gave us a lovely attic room in a superb location overlooking the river near the footbridge I liked the room (but not the stairs) it had windows on either side so was light and airy, the bathroom was fine Great breakfast

The location would be good if they were not rebuilding the flood defences making parking very difficult. We had an attic room which was spotlessly clean, a lovely view over the river, comfortable beds, a decent sized bathroom and good hospitality tray -with fresh milk available if you ask. Sandra made us very welcome and cooked a filling Scottish breakfast... More
