What really works is that almost all places of interest are within walking distance from this hotel. But the quality of beds and pillows is bad. Stayed for 3 nights on a glorious weekend.The staff are very friendly and efficient,but not overpowering,nothing seemed any trouble at all.Excellent location,very close to train station,shops and some great restaurants(The Mustard Seed,The Kitchen) Rooms were very clean and comfortable.To sum up, a very nice hotel,that we will use again on our next visit to Inverness.

This is a super place to have as a base as you explore Inverness and the west highlands. Hotel is very comfortable and a very nice staff that helped us navigate around the place. Great location. We had a twin room and the beds were very uncomfortable and the room was very small. Restaurant and common area was great and the staff were very friendly. No parking but the nearby train station parking area worked out great for 6 lbs per 24 hrs.
