I booked the 'Ramada Encore' hotel through Travel Republic not knowing that the hotel had changed it's name to Pentahotel but that was not the fault of the Pentahotel. Once I found the hotel, checking in was a doddle, the receptionist was very able and friendly and the room was clean and airy. The breakfast was buffet style but lots... More

Strange reception area - like stepping off the street through a time-warp into a 1980's disco - but the rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom is quite weird but survivable; but the service was friendly and the breakfast was quite exceptional for an hotel of its class. Very handy for the city centre, so overall, sure... More

Great reception, great staff, great location for city centre and further afield, great room....only problem I had was blocked drain in shower but was quickly resolved, a little downside is there is no hotel parking but there is a 24hr parking multi-storey 2 mins walk, all in all a very pleasant stay.

Staff were friendly and helpful, comfortable room only issue for me was the main reception bar was a bit dull. Would recommend this hotel to Scottish Government colleagues who would be required to travel to Inverness

Forst time I have stayed at the Penta since it was acquired and re-developed. It now has a very urban theme (low level lighting and jazz music). The reception is at the bar and this can feel a bit odd when you arrive, but the staff checked me in quickly and explained what Imcould expect in my stay. Double room... More

We paid £300 for two nights expecting something pretty good. The lobby is really nice and chilled atmosphere however when you go into the room it is very disappointing. its very basic not £300 worth. Its very noisy we did not sleep for both nights. the hotel offers you free box movies however our tv wasn't working properly, so we... More

This modern hotel is conveniently close to all restaurants & shopping. Staff were very helpful and Sky Sports in the bedrooms was a plus. Rooms were a good size though the mattress was too hard for a great night's sleep. Worth the price based on location.

I stayed here expecting the quality I had in Prague the previous 2 nights. I was checked in by a young girl called Katie and she was utterly useless! Attempting to check us in was just the start! First of all she couldn't find us, second she charged us for the wrong room upon requesting to pay first and was... More

Interesting hotel in inverness. Pros - modern room and bathroom, central location in inverness. Cons - no luggage drop off, no parking, didn't enjoy the breakfast, laminate wood flooring in hotel room made for a very noisy rooms. Also watch out for the wifi charge.
