Best guest house I've ever stayed in! Kenny & Dorothy really make you feel welcome, rooms are well furnished and comfortable especially room 8. Biker friendly and the cooked breakfast is more than enough to see you through a long days touring around the highlands. Location is very handy for the city, only a few minutes walk into centre.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of days at Silverstrands during a trip to the highlands in September. The room and breakfast lived up to our expectations; the owner was extremely helpful in pointing us in the right direction on a daily basis, in addition to being an excellent source on Scottish history and way of life.

Silverstrands is a great guest house. Very Well located, next to de centre but in a quiet neighborhood. Kenny is a great host, very kind! Great guy! The only negative thing is that the beds are a little small, but i'm a big guy... so... No problems! Everything else is great, the breakfast is A+!
