We stayed here as the second stop on a motorbike tour of Scotland. Kenny was very welcoming and even ensured we parked on his gated drive rather than on the (quiet) road out front - as other bikers will appreciate this was most welcome :-) We stayed a single night but enjoyed the room, generous tea & biscuits supplies as... Very nice B&B in a quiet residential area of Inverness, still an easy 10 minutes walk to the centre so very practical. Rooms are nicely decorated and have lovely beds. The host Kenny was lovely and cooked a great breakfast. The only slight downside is that the walls are a little thin which meant that I could hear our neighbor... More

The owner Kenny made sure we had everything we needed. He greeted everyone for breakfast in his kilts. They served a full Scottish breakfast and enough so you would not have to eat again until dinner. It was about a 1/4 mile walk to High Street, and shorter for some very good neighborhood restaurants. Most of the historical sites wireless... More

This is a great place to stay in Inverness. The rooms are clean, and spic. And well stocked. Kenny plays the perfect host. The personal touch adds to the hospitality. He is always there to help. A hearty breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

We got the small room but it had everything we needed. A big and comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits available in the room. Most positive experience was the very friendly and helpful owner who advised us on our trip planning. He also greeted us in kilt when serving tasty breakfast of our own choice... More

What a great experience. Kenny went out of his way to help me and my family when in Inverness for a family occasion. The rooms were spotless and had all you could wish for to make your stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast. But it was the kindness shown to us which made it so exceptionally special. We realised that the same... More

Well, this was a very welcome surprise. Of course I had read the reviews and booked something people raved about, but that still didn't prepare me for the warm welcome, the spacious room and the fantastic breakfast. Kenny was such a charming host, and as it was the first night of our 6-day road trip through Scotland, he certainly set... More

We stayed in several guest houses during our travels in Scotland and this was one of the nicest. We appreciated the roomier bathroom and only 1 flight of stairs. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast was a good, hearty Scottish breakfast. The location is a quiet residential neighborhood a short walk from downtown Inverness. Call ahead if... More

Ideally located about 10 minute walk from the town and railway station, although a slight hill to negotiate, but in a quiet location. Friendly welcome from Kenny our host and nothing was too much trouble. Room was very clean, light decor and well furnished with light oak furniture, the bed and linen in excellent condition. The en suite bathroom facility... More

Silverstrands is a short taxi ride from the train station and a 10-minute walk back to the high street and city centre. Kenny is delightful and serves a lovely breakfast that will keep you full most of the day! The bed was probably the best of the three places we slept, and the covers so plush I felt I was... More
