We could not have been happier with our five night stay. The location was excellent for getting from and to the train and bus. Our room was quite large, very quiet, and overlooked a lovely old church yard. We had comfortable beds and chairs, a desk and lots of closet and drawer space so that we were able to unpack... More

Great wee hotel , very clean , good beds , and a lovely breakfast . The Mcdougal family very friendly and can't do enough for you . We were there over Easter and hotel was busy but could not hear any noise from other rooms. Been here a number of times and we will be back . Rona & Dougie

I've stayed here twice over the last 12 months or so. I absolutely cannot fault the hospitality that is afforded to guests- nothing is too much trouble at all. An excellently located traditional family hotel with a very personal touch. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very adequately appointed. It is an ideal haven for a break in the wonderful capital... Spent two nights here - decor very seventies, tartan abounds (especially in the breakfast room where there's a rather fab Highlander mural!), but the staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms noisy overnight with Wetherspoon's on other side of road so make sure you (a) wear yourself out during the day so you sleep well, or (b) take ear plugs!... More

Yes please! A decent, family(?, not any chain, at least) run hotel with personality at Church Street. Cyclists, as we are, needs showers and shaves (not all of us, a shave; though), short distance to a good place to eat and drink. Good rooms, beds(broad enough) with downys (jippi!), quiet all night long (I wonder about sunday mornings, the church... More

Very good location, walking distance to shops, buses and trains very short. Extremely nice staff especially the girl helping with the breakfast Samantha who is a pleasure to speak to every morning with a smile on her face. The owners are brilliant, they help out with anything you need, nothing is beyond availability. Very clean and good choice of breakfast,... More

Booked thru VisitScotland. This hotel was well located for getting in and walking all around town. Staff was helpful and breakfast was nice. The lobby was completely retro (maybe early 70s?) which I loved as well- it was also full of visitor guides and whatnot, so a good place to plan strategy before heading out to walk the town. Note:... I've stayed there for two times over and enjoyed it both times. The rooms, although a bit dated are very comfortable, clean and have everything you'll need. The location is perfect in the center of Inverness. Price is great even for single occupancy.

Really friendly, really nice room and the hotel is nicely situated 10 mins walk from the railway station. The room was ideal and nice and clean, no issues at all. The breakfast was everything one would need, ie, full breakfast, toast and cereals, yogurt and fresh fruits, tea or coffee. Great value and manager was full of information regarding local... More

This was my 5th or 6th stay here and I see no reason to look for alternative accommodation when visiting Inverness. Excellent location for shops - pop back and unload then back out and start again. Price is very reasonable for such a central location. Rooms have everything I need for a one/two night stay - all rooms have en-suite,... More
