Spent one night in this beautifull guest house in Inverness. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite fabulous, as was the breakfast. Would highly recommend Glasdair House to anyone travelling in the highlands.

Spent one night in this beautifully appointed guest house in Inverness. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite fabulous, as was the breakfast. Would highly recommend Glasdair House to anyone travelling in the highlands. The grounds were quite beautiful as well.

It is a really nice place to stay in Inverness. The lovely house is set 10 mins walk from the city centre, approachable with the baby buggy. We had an excellent service with our 10 month old baby. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful - we felt welcome!

We stumbled on Glasdair after a week camping and boating in the Great Glen. Despite the rough state we were in Peter welcomed us in and offered to help us dry off our damp clothes and tent. All was good quality apart from the temperature control on the shower (too hot) but every effort was made to resolve that. These... More

The house is set back on a large property lined with pretty gardens and has a fountain in the centre of the lawn - very picturesque. We had 4 rooms and all were spacious and nicely decorated. The bathrooms were larger than we had seen at any other B&B on our tour of Scotland and were the only ones with... More

House is nice and spacious. We stayed just for one night on 25th may. cons - there is only one guys who is taking care of house who is very very arrogant, we remember of being told that we have reached very early ( it was late in the evening and we were travelling in the tour). Internet was not... More

I'm grateful that you were able to find some good points about your stay at Glasdair and thank you very much for your honesty. It is regretful to hear that Peter was perceived as arrogant, this is the only negative description of him that has been reported. There are a number of staff at the house although he may have... I would like to give them 10 starts, after few days with Peter (owner, friend, manager of the house) definitely I will be back soon to inverness. The atmosphere in the house is amazing, quiet, tidy, clean, full equipped the en-suite rooms and beautiful views to inverness. The breakfast was amazing too. Peter knows the area perfectly, was like a... More

Stay here for work purposes and could not be happier. The manager peter is fantastic and nothing seems to be a problem, which makes it easier staying away from home. Value for money and excellent service. A recipe for success

We stayed there for 5 days and really enjoyed it. The host is super friendly, and gives really good recommendations what to do in the area. Our room was perfect: big/ comfortable bed, big shower, very clean and with tea / coffee in the room. The breakfast was amazing, too. Good selection of traditional breakfast and some healthier choices ;)... More
