A great night in Inverness. Very welcoming, very comfortable rooms, and a great breakfast. Some great local pubs and restaurants (Ewan called ahead and paved the way as we were running late). A lovely stay all round, thanks. Hope to be back next year too.

Amy, the owner greeted us warmly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was comfortably furnished and the views over the castle and estuary were wonderful. Her husband Ewan (Olympic champion curler!) was on hand in the morning to help serve us a cheery and tasty breakfast. All rooms, including the bonus guest conservatory, were clean and well appointed.... More

Amy and Ewan are wonderful hosts. Our room was perfect and very clean. The full Scottish Breakfast as well as many other types of breakfast items are available every day and it is served in a delightful, sunny breakfast room. Our room gave us gorgeous views of the River Ness and we enjoyed everything. We highly recommend the Castle Tavern... More

Location is perfect--walking distance to downtown Inversness and easy access to roads to take you around Lock Ness. Amy is full of energy and it was delightful to see her 2 year old son so at ease with quest. Ewan also made a point of stopping by at breakfast before he left for work. (FYI--He's a champion curler and has... More

Amy and Ewan are wonderful hosts! We stayed three nights in June and had a wonderful time. The room was clean with a large bathroom and a great view of River Ness. Breakfast was really nice. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the downtown area. I would definitely stay here again if I ever get back to... More

After our stay at Craigside Lodge Guesthouse in Inverness, we strongly recommend it! Amy and Ewan are warm, welcoming hosts, and their well-located home is a delight. Beautiful sitting room/lounge, great breakfast, and comfortable, well-furnished guest rooms. Terrific access to Inverness Castle and nearby restaurants and pubs. Amy is young, yet it's clear she knows this business; this lovely B&B... More

We only had one night here, but we wished we had had more time to explore Inverness and to enjoy the hospitality of this splendid little B&B. Our room was little small with the dormer window but the view out toward the castle was well worth it. The bed was quite comfortable, the room was clean and tidy; there was... More

What makes Craigside Lodge Guest House such a great place to stay in Inverness is the location and the warm welcome of the owners, Amy and Ewan. (Ewan is a former Olympian!) We felt very comfortable in our cozy room with a wonderful view of the Inverness Castle. They took care of all of our needs and had great suggestions... More

I stayed near the Inverness town centre for 4 days at the end of June, 2014. Most of my stay was at the Craigside B & B. I stayed in Room # 1, which has a beautiful view of Inverness Castle, overlooking the buildings of downtown & hills leading out of town. Also, this is on the top floor, so... More

. . . those being the sweet Amy, the adorable Alex, and the Craigside itself. Perfectly located for walking about in Inverness, it's comfy and homey, and Amy couldn't have been nicer. Our room and bath were spotless, which is always my first concern when it comes to lodgings. Breakfast was hot and hearty and the breakfast room was cheerful... More
