My colleague and I stayed at Castle View for two nights. Mr Munro kindly let us have two rooms for single occupancy and at a very reasonable rate. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the free wireless broadband was a great bonus. My colleague is a vegetarian (Vegan) but that caused no problems and she thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast, as... more

We stayed for three nights and despite the room was over-furnished a bit and with yard view, the fantastic friendly atmosphere, delicious food and our host first of all made us feel homelike. We would definitely recommend it to everybody! :) more

We reserved 3 nights at this lovely B&B based on reviews online - so I'm adding one. John Munro is the utmost host, welcoming and warm. We had a room on the very top floor with a large bathroom. Free wifi, a full Scottish breakfast in the morning - with eggs cooked to order - the views, and location are... more

We stayed in the Castle View guest House for 2 nights. It was brilliant. John Munro is so welcoming. We only wanted a double room & he gave us the family room for the same price. It was clean & tidy & the location was perfect. It is right in the middle of the city, on the river, faceing the... more

The minute we walked through the door Mr Monro was incredibly helpful. The view to the castle was beautiful and John always had a smile on his face making us feel very welcome. The rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious. But the highlight of this stay was definately the breakfast. The food was fresh and the eggs cooked to... more

The Proprietor of this guest house is, I think, it's greatest asset. Mr. Munro is charming and kind; a very helpful gentleman. My bed was comfy and clean...the breakfast, amazing-big and filling! It has a quiet, private feel, in spite of being so central. The breakfast room is right over the River Ness and the Castle was...well right there...(it is... more

John Munroe charmed my friend and I the minute we walked in. He has a polite, unassuming and very soothing demeanour that just puts you at ease immediately, and he's incredibly helpful. The rate for our twin room was very reasonable, and even more so considering the spaciousness of the room and bathroom! The beds were impeccably clean and delicately... more

John Munro is a great host and the guest house is clean, well situated and comfortable. My window had a view of the castle, great bed and pillows, was airy and light with large windows. A large breakfast provided with many choices. There is a mini frige for guest use and tea and coffee making things in the room. All... more

Guesthouse owner was very nice. He will always fulfill your need if he can. The rate was reasonable. The buffet breakfast was great. You can have a full English breakfast. The share bathroom has a big tub. The view was great. You can see the castle from the window of the room. Also, the guesthouse is along the river. The... more
