It's just a guest house, very much overpriced. Room was big enough, four lumpy beds, no ensuite the bathroom was across the hall. Felt old, tired and dusty, old stuffed animals on the walls. Needs a refurb. breakfast was farmfoods/asda stuff, was okay I suppose. Ok but £122 is far too expensive. But I suppose that's what you pay for... More

I stayed one night and we had 3 rooms for 8 people. The B&B location is just perfect in Inverness, very close to the city center. However its special decoration has scared my younger daughter. The bathroom setup is OK. Breakfast service and choice of meals is standard and we could use the large dining room at night for games... More

Stayed over on a business trip. Decor needed a refresher and the drains in my ensuite were a bit smelly. However, I did get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a bit skimpy. Not my first choice when I go back to Inverness again.

Very uncomfortable decorations of stuffed birds and animal heads on the walls. Adjoining bathroom and toilet not ensuite as expected..Breakfast was very good. Freshly cooked having been ordered the evening before and served by a very nice lady. Horrendous trying to park the car in the tiny carpark and backing out onto a one way busy street. Once seen never... More

The room (double with en-suite) was okay. No chair, just the bed to sit or lie on. It could have been a bit more solid. Very thin walls. Had a family staying next door one night, with loud children and TV - not amusing. Some doors definitely needed a spot of grease, the creaking of the bathroom door was particularly... More

Stayed for 1 night in a quad room in July. Room was clean and fairly comfortable - with our own ensuite bathroom. The beds were a bit lumpy - but not too bad. Breakfast was filling - full breakfast offered (had to give order on arrival the night before - which is standard at most B&B)'s. Location is great, free... More

Don't book this B&B! On-line pictures don't show the dirt, nor the musty smell. The furniture is old and uncomfortable, especially the bed which was a bumpy mattress on a simple metal frame. The breakfast was the cheapest possible. Mounted dead animals were displayed in almost every room covered in dust. Used linens were piled in the corner of one... More

Our room was clean and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and friendly, and yet left you alone to do your own thing which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was good, and the place was full of fab wacky taxidermy as a good Highland house should be. Parking was great, and the location very central, close to some good restaurants for... More

This b&b is within easy walking distance from the city centre>our room was large, cleanliness was good and the ensuite was adequate, if small. Breakfast portions were small and the owners a bit distant. Decor was dated, but it's an old house and I didn't think it was out of character.

The positive about this was that it was very close to the city centre, so ideal if you did not have a car with you. The owners were not overly friendly, the decor was very tired and badly needed updating. Room was not cleaned properly. Ensuite consisted of a private bathroom down the hall. You had to choose your breakfast... More
