The rooms are exceptionally clean and the breakfast spread is awesome. It is just 5 minutes away from the station and city center. Before booking the B & B please make sure that you reach before 8:30 PM. They do not accept late night visitors.

Went on a valentines retreat with my girlfriend and being but humble students to find such wonderful accommodation (well decorated, comfy bed, suitable amenities), for such a wonderful price, not to mention the great hospitality was a real gem. Only a short walk from the train station and city centre and breakfast included was top notch. Definitely would stay again.... More

Stayed with my wife and two children. Mr Ross could not have been more helpful. One morning we had to leave early to visit some tourist attractions and Mr Ross was kind enough to make packed lunches for us all as we would not be there for breakfast. The room was excellent value for money and very clean. Will arrange... More

We booked this Inn through a booking site which allows an American Express card to reserve the room. About an hour after booking, we arrived and the first thing he said was "we don't take American Express"! We told him we had another card, but he kept making rude statements and seemed extremely angry and agitated with us. There was... More

Me and my husband stayed in this pretty guesthouse in August 2011. We were amazed at how instantly we felt at home when we entered... Right from our first interaction with the ever so friendly and hospitable owner Ross to the beautiful and cozy rooms to the quaintly decorated living room and lounge area, the close proximity to the town... Had a great stay at the Royston, clean room, fresh towels, great breakfast. A very friendly welcome when we got there, and we were able to come and go as we pleased. Only 10mins walk to City Centre. I would definately recommend this guest house. We will definately be back. Thanks Ross for having us. Mrs H
