I stayed there wlth my frlends. The first appearence of the hotel was not very promising but as soon as we've seen the rooms, we simply loved that hotel. I was cozy, clean and people were friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to peope visiting Inverness. The only thing that this hotel needs to improve is the shower. The rest... More

The view of the Castle and the hills was wonderful. There were many lovely touches, such as chocolate and cookies in the room. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We chose the smoked haddock both days as it was so good. The host was friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere of the guesthouse was peaceful, clean and welcoming.... More

Stayed for a 1 night last January, The double room was a bit on the small side, but as we were just staying for just the night it didn't bother us too much. Pros. Great view, Comfortable bed, Very good Breakfast. Lots of info in the room on where to eat and what to visit. Very Central just 10mins walkable... More

Stayed for three nights & found the location perfect. Great views of Castle, River Ness & Cathedral from our comfortable & well appointed bedroom. The location was spot on for the town centre & found the information pack in the room & advise from the owner very helpful for places to visit & eat. After a good nights sleep we... More

My husband and I spent two nights at Ardentorrie at the beginning of Februsry. We had a great experience from start to finish. We were greeted by Mr Kennedy who was more than helpful. Our room was lovely and clean and most importantly very warm (at this time of year). The full English breakfast set us up nicely for the... More

A note greeted us with door code and our room # - no person! The room was clean but quite small. When we returned from dinner, we could not make the bathroom lights work. No person around to assist us. Sometime after 1am the bathroom lights and fan came on! We filled out a breakfast menu with a request for... More

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay At Ardentorrie, Just to respond to some of your issues, 1. Your tour guild should have shown you to your room (as they normally do) 2. For early breakfast and any other assistance, all you had to do was press the bell, that is clearly marked on the reception desk. (there was someone... More

Stayed here only for 1 evening and was very happy with the facilities. The location is excellent and as we had booked a castle view room - the eye level view of the castle & the views of the Ness river bank and the pretty town beyond were fabulous. This is not a spacious place - but extremely functional, very... More

I was a little leery about this guesthouse based on some of the previous reviews, but I found it an excellent place to stay (2 nights). Had the room right at the top of the stairs and found it very quite... never heard anyone else... The location is what prompted staying here as you can walk to the downtown area... More

We had no complaints about our stay at the Ardentorrie guest house, but it certainly isn't a luxurious property. The location is very good and we did have a castle view room, which was very nice. The room was snug but serviceable and did include a kettle so we could enjoy tea and biscuits, which we appreciate. Breakfast was good... More

Enjoyed this place. Lots of electrical receptacles to charge phones, etc. The decor is not modern, but it is clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and while the weather was cold, the patio was stunning.
