We chose not to stay in Inverness preferring to be out of the town but not too far away. How lucky we were to find Rose Cottage just over the Kessock Bridge in Kilmuir right on the Firth of Moray. If you are looking for a special, off-the-beaten path, this is the place. The owner, Carol, is marvelous, interesting, vivacious, and friendly. There is one guest suite, and it is well stocked! The Rose Cottage is unlike any other B&B we've seen and we absolutely loved it.
