Just what a B & B should be - friendly welcome, clean & comfortable bedroom with good en-suite, The dining room is spacious with a good range of food available for self service. The cooked breakfast served up by Alison was delicious. No hesitation to use Netherby again.

Alison met us at the station, returned us the next morning and because it was pouring down rain and we were on foot, took us to the restaurant she suggested for dinner. The meal was lovely, the rain had stopped after dinner, so we walked back, spent a lovely evening visiting with both Alison and her husband and slept like... More

Can't say enough good things about this place, for the price paid i'm really happy, spacious double room with ensuite. Friendly and willing hosts at all times, top breakfast too. Throughly enjoyed my stay in July for 3 nights. The only thing I would say is don't expect the shower to blow you away when you switch it on.

I was recommended this guest house by the owner of another one which was full, and I'm glad I took it up. The room was very nice, the owners very friendly and breakfast was large and tasty. The building is located about ten minutes walk from the town centre. All-in-all, it was very good value.

Stayed for second visit in March and everything was just as good as my previous visit about three years ago. The house is spotless, warm and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. Alison and Will make you feel at home and offer lots of useful information about the area including places to eat. The town centre and rail station are... More

When we arrived, we immediately felt at home here. A warm welcome and a very personal home that they share with their guests. We found it to be so much at home, that even forgot to return the key upon departure and had to mail it. The rooms if you can get one, are just perfect. All services including breakfast,... More

The last night of our recent cycling holiday in Scotland was spent in Wick. On first sight of the house we thought our room in Netherbys might be small (as we had experienced the previous night is Thurso) However the room was remarkable spacious and comfortable. As we had booked the train to Inverness the following morning at 6am, we... More

The owners are soo friendly, amazing at cooking, wifi available for our laptops and flatscreen tv's in the rooms - I could stay there for a long time!!!! Next time i'm up will depend on... More

We stayed at Netherby just for 1 night in mid September and had a great time. Our hosts Alison & Will were so welcoming, very interested in our travels so far and made us feel at home, after a long day behind the wheel. Our room was well set out, just a bit small but thats expected in these old... More

We stayed in Netherby House for 1 night in August during a round trip through Scottland. Netherby is a nice little cottage in Wick. Our room was very very small, the bathroom was even smaller, but everything was clean and nice. Although the room was quite functional and the furniture was obviously from an ancient childrens room, it was looked... More
