I had ended up in Wick hospital after a cycling accident during a round the coast solo ride. My collar bone had been broken and while Wick couldn't do the op, Inverness wouldn't, (although to be fair no hospital would have done it until the flesh graze had healed.) I therefore had to make arrangements to get myself back to... More

Stayed here for 9 days. Rooms are en suite. Good location close to the center of the town. Will and Alison are warm and frieldly proprietors. There's a decent pay as you go gym not to far from the B and B too. All in all I would recommend Netherby without reservation.

A lovely cosy B&B. Alison is a great host. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Very convenient to town. Street parking is always available so no problem with parking and the area seemed pleasant and secure Recommended

Just what a B & B should be - friendly welcome, clean & comfortable bedroom with good en-suite, The dining room is spacious with a good range of food available for self service. The cooked breakfast served up by Alison was delicious. No hesitation to use Netherby again.

Alison met us at the station, returned us the next morning and because it was pouring down rain and we were on foot, took us to the restaurant she suggested for dinner. The meal was lovely, the rain had stopped after dinner, so we walked back, spent a lovely evening visiting with both Alison and her husband and slept like... More

Can't say enough good things about this place, for the price paid i'm really happy, spacious double room with ensuite. Friendly and willing hosts at all times, top breakfast too. Throughly enjoyed my stay in July for 3 nights. The only thing I would say is don't expect the shower to blow you away when you switch it on.

I was recommended this guest house by the owner of another one which was full, and I'm glad I took it up. The room was very nice, the owners very friendly and breakfast was large and tasty. The building is located about ten minutes walk from the town centre. All-in-all, it was very good value.

Stayed for second visit in March and everything was just as good as my previous visit about three years ago. The house is spotless, warm and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. Alison and Will make you feel at home and offer lots of useful information about the area including places to eat. The town centre and rail station are... More

When we arrived, we immediately felt at home here. A warm welcome and a very personal home that they share with their guests. We found it to be so much at home, that even forgot to return the key upon departure and had to mail it. The rooms if you can get one, are just perfect. All services including breakfast,... More
