4 stars for the good value single rooms and the level of service provided by the hosts for this 6 roomed budget priced guest house. Located on the quayside and near the fishing museum, 10 minute walk to the railway and bus stations, plenty of parking right outside according to the blurb. The 2 single rooms were good value at £25 although rather small and basic with a slither of a window overlooking the sea whilst the double was far more spacious. Neither were on suite but there is a separate loo and the new and spacious shared bathroom had a rather nice large shower. Plenty of photos from Wick in the past and of a transport theme which gave the place a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was good. We merely mentioned the fact we had an early train to catch and the offer was made to prepare an early breakfast. There was a sign offering a laundry service that cost less per bag than I pay for 2 pairs of laundered socks in the Westin.
