Four of us ( 2 couples ) stayed here for a night whilst touring the highlands. Friendly reception from Elspeth, large well appointed rooms with spotless en suites and a breakfast that was unsurpassed by anywhere else we stayed. Highly recommended. One small drawback - no off street parking but on the road outside gave us no problems so still... More

The Clachan has to be one of the finest B & Bs in Scotland, if not the whole UK. Superbly decorated & furnished to the highest standard, also immaculately clean. Comfortable beds, large power shower, plus all the little extras that most places skimp on. Wonderful selection at breakfast. Elspeth is the perfect hostess with plenty of time to chat... More

This place is fab, really really fab. You feel like you are a millionaire just by staying there. I only stayed one night, arrived late and left early...such a waste of this wonderful place. The owner even gave me a lift to the station (without being asked) as it was raining. Breakfast was also great, and so much choice!!!! I... More

This B&B was more expensive than some of the others in the area, but actually I'm very glad I paid the extra and stayed there. Elspeth was so lovely and friendy, nothing was too much trouble. I was very pleased with my brief stay and only wished I could have stayed longer....... The wifi was good, the quality of the... More

Had a 1 night stopover in Wick at Clachan. Was only there one night but wish I could have stayed longer. I had a very comfortable room with lots of little extras. The room was spotless. The Clachan warrants the 4 star rating. In my opinion, bordering on being worth 5. What a fabulous hostess Elspeth is. Very friendly and... More

Excellent bed & breakfast. Bedrooms spacious and very comfortable. Super breakfast. Spotlessly clean. We stayed one night and would definitely recommend it. Esther the owner very welcoming and helped us plan our day with her knowledge of the area. Looking forward to our next visit there.

My daughter and myself stayed one night at The Clachan and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean Bed and Breakfast. Elspeth was a very welcoming host who is a credit to her sucessful business. Would definitely stay again! Edith Reid

We stayed for one night on a brief visit to Wick (March). The Clachan is a fantastic B&B, very clean, modern and comfortable. Elspeth is very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options (and plenty of it). Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I have come across few other so well appointed rooms in a B&B! The welcome was superb, and breakfast plentiful and varied. Would highly recommend to others wishing to stay in Wick, and would definitely stay again.
