My parents Tommy and Lilian Tait stayed here in April and came back raving about the standard of this property. Attention to detail was second to none. So friendly and welcoming and can recommend The Clachan to anyone finding themselves in Wick.Well done and keep up the good work. Many thanks

The Clachan is a great place to stay for a visit to this spectacular part of the UK. The rooms are immaculate and well appointed, the breakfast extensive and delicious (no problem for special diets either)but what really makes it is Elspeth the owner! Elspeth goes above and beyond what you would expect from a B and B and well... More

This is a very nice B&B with a superb host. We stayed at the Ackergill tower while our traveling companions stayed at the Clachan. We were with them when they checked in and from their departure comments we can confirm this is one of the best B&Bs they have every stayed at.

Every time we have been to Wick we have stayed with Elspeth.. Her accommodation cannot be surpassed for comfort and cleanliness. The food she serves for breakfast is of the finest quality as is the standard of her cooking. Her warm welcome is typical of Highland hospitality and her local knowledge and helpfulness is second to none.I would recommend to... More

We stayed at the Clachan in 2012 for three nights when I celebrated my 60th birthday and loved it. This year we returned when my husband cycled Land's End to John O' Groats for Action Aid, just before his 66th birthday. We were so pleased to be able to tie in a return visit. The B and B is delightful,... More

This is the third time that I have stayed at the Clachan with my son, and for the third time I was extremely impressed. Elspeth, the landlady is very welcoming giving the place a real 'home from home' feel. The room was impeccably clean and the décor was every bit as good as it was in 2010. Breakfast was excellent.... This is the perfect B&B. The rooms are very nice and the bathroom is large and has all the small things you will need. Really nice breakfast, a good start! If you are going north, this is the place to be. The owner was very friendly and helped us where to eat and where to go. Overall its a B&B... More
