I arrived at about 9pm and after the 6 hour drive to Wick all I could think about was a hot shower and a good nights sleep. My first impression of the room was good, freshly painted with a new bathroom suite, on the surface crisp and clean..... After that long awaited shower I got into the double bed and... more

This was an error made by the cleaning staff. The guests room had been made up that morning as there was a long term guest staying in the room. That guest then decided to return home for a couple of days and the room was let to the reviewer. Due to a breakdown in communication the room was not stripped...

Stayed in one of the refurbished rooms. The refurbished room was OK on first arriving, though on being in the room for a few minutes there were clearly signs of water leak stains, broken bedside light, couldnt get the towel rail to work, neither did bathroom blind, loo was a sani loo type and was very noisy , one of... more

Was really pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. Our room had obviously been recently refurbished and this seemed to be the case throughout the hotel. Nice bar area for a drink and friendly staff. We will definately stay here next time! more

Me my wife and my parents stayed at Breadalbane for 2 nights as we were attending a family party. The two rooms were OK, one room (1) was better than the other (3), which could do with some attention to a few things. Both rooms would be improved by just a little extra attention to maintenance. Overall we had a... more

The hotel appeared a little tired looking from the outside, but once inside it was very different. The rooms were very large and luxurious, each room had it's own large en-suite and LCD television with a choice of over 40 channels. The bar downstairs was nice, really friendly locals. There was a live band on the night we stayed and... more

Myself and my family stayed at this hotel recently in an extremely large but cosy family room. The hotel was clean and comfortable and I could not fault it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and did everything to make our stay as lovely as it was. Great friendly pub which is nice for a quiet drink during the... more

I recently stayed at the hotel and was enamoured by its quaint individually decorated rooms and friendly pub. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the fully cooked breakfasts that my party received in the morning were delicious! Compliments to the chef! Our stay lasted a few days and I found the staff to be very attentive and friendly... more

I traveled up to Wick on business and, unfortunately, did not make reservations for accommodation well enough in advance to get my preferred hotel. I wound up choosing Breadalbane House because of its proximity to my place of business in the town. Next time, I would prefer to travel a bit, rather than stay in this accommodation. If I couldn't... more

I took over the hotel from my parents in February 2007. Since then all hotel rooms have been totally renovated.
