Have just had a fantastic holiday in the far North of Scotland. Stayed at the Impala for 5 nights. Alan and Lynne could not have been more accommodating. The room was kept spotless (by them - not us!) and the breakfasts were fabulous. There is a mine of information in the foyer - and Lynne and Alan were always on... More

Stayed for 2 nights in July and were very happy with the accomodation, welcome and food. Probably the best bacon ever. The decor is not to my taste but everything else was faultless including the reasonable price. The foggy weather did little to impress Wick as a destination but it was a perfect start and finish for our 12 hour... More

We have found this place to be just perfect...family members have returned again and again now! We love the warmth of the hosts....and the rooms are sooo gooood - even recently re-newed and updated :) The location is perfect to walk into town or down to the rocky coastline.

Before we stayed at Impala B&B we had stayed in a hostel in Durness so we were very glad to see our big (yet very purple) en-suite room with a little tv-lounge with sofa and a very big bathroom with a bathtub. Great! Lynne was very helpful and Impala B&B was actually a minor tourist information with all the brochures... More

We stayed for 6 nights in a family room and although we were struck down by illness for several of the days we were still looked after very well and was fully respected in the need for time to recover. The facilities were always kept impeccably clean, friendliness was top stuff and our needs were always fulfilled. Defiantly going to... More

Didn't expect to find such a good wee B&B in Wick. It's ideal for people with a teenage kid. As well as the usual tv in room, clean ensuite bathroom, and great Scottish cooked breakfast with a choice of home made marmalade and jams, there was a games room with pool and table football. Ideal for the teenage boy of... More

Stayed for 1 night in a single room with evening meal and breakfast (£30 B&B and £6.95 for evening meal) Felt at home straight away, the owners are very friendly and helpful and the establishment has a good atmosphere. A little way out of Wick (15 to 20 mins walk). Room was clean and had everything to hand, tea and... More

Well situated on the edge of Wick, a walkable distance from the centre along the cliff path. Lynne and Alan very helpful when we had a medical emergency late in the evening. Limited restaurants open in Wick on a Monday evening

I couldn't have wished for a more welcoming B&B for the first night of my John O' Groats to Land's End walk. Lynne and Alan are perfect hosts and go out of their way to look after you. The B&B is located just out of town, but the sea views are worth it.
