Stayed here recently whilst visiting friends in Wick. We were booked in on our friends recommendation. We were not disappointed ! We stayed in Room 2 and it was more than enough for our needs. Very comfortable with a good size bathroom and spotlessly clean. The owners Julie and Eddy were very welcoming and really nice people. They have recently... More

+ Warm. Comfortable. Good facilities. Had a goo night's sleep. Breakfast keeps you going all day. Excellent value. - If you are on foot it's a way from the centre / railway station (30 mins walk). OK if not wet!

Stayed for one night as a group of 3 on route to starting John o' Groats - Land's End. A friendly welcome and no hassle to store the bikes straight away when we arrived. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and more. Breakfast was wonderful with an extensive menu choice, efficient service and delicious food. Voted our... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Impala. Everything was first class, nothing was too much bother. Parking was easy - owners were extremely friendly - food was great - room had everything required plus more. Absolutely no negatives. Make this your first choice next time you visit the area. My friend and I stayed here during our cycling journey around North East Scotland. Lynne and Alan welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to our rooms. Mine was the one downstairs. The room was comfortable if a little dark due to the décor. It was very clean as was the ensuite. My friend had one of the upstairs... More

We stayed here in June 2014 for two nights. Our room was on the ground floor with a sea view. This was a delightful room, tastefully decorated with lots of extra touches, like bedside shelves, lights, extra sockets to charge up laptops, phones etc, and even a digital clock. The room had a leather two-seater couch and coffee table, where... More

I was travelling with a friend and we were greeted by Lynn on arrival, who showed us to our single rooms. My room was the smallest of the two and it was a bit cramped, however as it was a one night stay that wasn't an issue. My friends room was larger. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and there was...
