Stayed here during February 2016 on business for 3 nights and the staff made me feel very welcome! They would go out their way to look after me. The room was well cleaned and tidy, the food was great too! Couldn't fault my stay! Will definitely be back! Thanks again!

I stayed at this hotel with my friend as we were going to a party in Wick that night. We were greeted by a lovely helpful receptionist, who showed us to our room. At first glance the room looked rather pleasing, but we found several faults that we feel could be vastly improved. The beds were really uncomfortable, rock hard... More

On a spontaneous roadtrip round the NC500, we ended up in Wick around sunset, so it was the place to settle for the night - having not seen 3G or wifi for some time, there was no forward planning so we just walked in off the street. We shopped around but all the hotels were over priced. Everything here was... More

I was renting a private function room and was informed by member of staff behind the bar that you could bring own alcohol, as we were privatley renting the room. Half way through function we were informed by senoir staff, that this was not the case. We explained that we had been informed incorrectley by a member of staff, but... More

Staying here again for work. Massive warm room, comfy bed, lovely fast powerful shower. All the basics for breakfast and great homemade food for dinner. Just had the best cheesecake outside of New York!

Booked by my Wife as the final nights B&B before my arrival at John O Groats it was a shame she wasn't with me as the owner allocated me a room with a four poster bed! It was such a lovely room that I stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast wasn't bad either and Nicola the owners daughter was a super... More

I cannot comment on accomodation only the meal I had with my family.First impression was of premises stuck in another era.The decor was dated and tired. I was impressed by the two friendly waitresses but the food wasnt really up to much.Garlic mushrooms for starters consisted of two chopped mushrooms in garlic sauce and a few lettuce leaves.Didnt do much... Accomodation was difficult on the 6th September and we were glad to get a room. The room was rathe rsmall and not terribly well equipped. Wireles (for Ipad) didn't work and the TV picture was breaking up. Dinner served adjacent to the bar area (not in the Dining Room) and was average. Breakfast didn't seem freshly cooked. Will not be... More

Second night in the Queens Hotel in Wick for three nights while working in the area, the first time in this hotel & hopefully it will not be the last. A very friendly & comfortable family run hotel to stay you could go a lot farther before you get better food or Hotel for that matter. Well worth trying to... More

Checking in late without a reservation I have to admit I was lucky to get a room. So I can not complain too much. The room was clean and comfortable, ordering a meal to my room as I was advised the hotel gets a little loud during the weekend evenings. The Pea n Ham soup devine, the lasagna n chips... More
