This excellent B&B is a bit hidden in an older building . The Bank house has everything you expect after a long day sightseeing . Very clean , modern accomodation with en suite bathroom . We enjoyed the tasty breakfast before moving on. And lastly there is free parking behind the building . Thanks !

Perfect stop off point for the NC500. Breakfast in the morning was sublime! Alexander Bain was a nice easy pub meal and located 2/3 minutes away. Easy to find, free parking at the rear of the house and amenities nearby, Lidl etc for snacks etc!

Stayed here Monday through to Thursday, and we couldn't have found a better place to stay, Angela (the owner) was such a lovely person and made us feel right at home, her breakfast is to die for. The Banks Guesthouse is a wee gem in Wick and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, real value for money. Craig & David

Stayed overnight whilst doing the NC500. Got a call and text from Angela what time we would be arriving and met at the door. Very friendly and informative. The room was very cosy, everything that we needed, with parking in a public car park to the rear. Breakfast was delicious, couldn't fault. My one very minor issue was that the wi-fi was a bit haphazard. It seemed to have gone off which I didn't notice so I ate up all my data. That aside would definitely recommend.

The location of the hotel was excellent and it was only a stones throw from the pedestrian area. Unfortunately, we slept in as the bed was really comfortable and didn't make breakfast but the host recommended somewhere for us to go and pointed us in the right direction. The room was clean and it was huge.

We stayed for one night during our holiday and, although it’s no Hilton it is a friendly gvfm B&B. If you have mobility issue I wouldn’t recommend it, as the stairs are steep and it’s hard lugging your bag up a couple of flights ( although we were offered assistance. ) The rooms are clean, we stayed in room 3 and although there were a couple of small issues they never caused us any real problems and we duly reported them on leaving. The breakfast was great , local produce all really well cooked. All in not a bad B&B.

Quality B&B GUEST HOUSE in the centre of town, comfortable rooms, good WiFi. Excellent breakfast served 0800-0900 - pre-order your time slot and your main dishes the night before. What i really liked was the in room lighting and power points. This was top class especially the bedside lamp and plenty of power sockets. I liked the fact that you don''t have to get out of bed to turn off the light. The only downside is the stairs - plenty of them but perhaps that's just me. The staff were great and also gave me a magic recommendation for dinner to the Borde De L'eau which I went to and have reviewed separately.

Stayed here for two nights on the North Coast 500. Central location in Wick, however a lot shut down so not much around. You need to go up two flights of stairs for rooms. Owner was very friendly and the place nice and clean. Breakfast was tasty, however the bed was uncomfortable so two nights was more than enough. If staying in Wick make sure to book restaurants in advance and most places closed on Sunday & Mondays.
