Booked in two rooms in early February. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, William, Angela and little Hannah and Holly. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm and well appointed and the breakfasts were a great way to start the day with a good choice on the menu. There were no restrictions on guests and we could come... More

We stayed at the Bank just before Christmas and received a very warm welcome. The accommodation is very clean and tidy. The cooked breakfast was lovely with a choice of cereals and juices. The building was great with lots of period features and lovingly restored. Would highly recommend!

We had considered staying at Mackays Hotel, but wanted something more personal and opted for the Bank House. We were not disappointed! I had initially booked through another website, and dropped one of the rooms as my friend and I decided to save money by sharing a room with 2 beds. I received a written confirmation from William at the... More

The B&B is actually in the former house of the bank manager and has been well adapted. The room was clean, comfortable and warm, in spite of the gale blowing outside. The breakfast was full and satisfying. Wick itself is a small but pleasant town, although it does seem to shut down early on Mondays. We would certainly stay there... More

The B&B is situated in a central position, close to shops, restaurants and a short drive to John O'Groats which would be popular for visitors. There is a lack of professionalism specifically with the welcome and servicing of rooms - on arrival we only had one sachet of shower gel and one sachet of shampoo and no other toiletries at... More

Angela and William make excellent and friendly hosts, with an excellent breakfast comprising of fresh tasty food, and beautifully furnished clean rooms. Located in the middle of Wick with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. No need for me to spend time looking over reviews for Hotels and B&Bs for Wick and surrounding area next time.

Taking in a 10 day scenic and classic malt tour of Scotland, Wick was one of our two day lay-overs in the North Highlands. Beautiful B&B, lovely atmosphere and a good hardy breakfast. Our hosts could not have been nicer. Everything clean and proper as it should be with good recommendations for eating and taking in some sights--Old Pulteney and... More

Excellent welcome by Angela - lovely clean and comfortable room - and boy, what a breakfast! Ideally located, in the centre of town, for visiting the attractions in and around Wick. Why only 4* - purely selfish reason - too many stairs for me but it did not spoil my enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.
