I arrived in Thurso late evening and picked the Pentland at random..and what a good choice! My room had an en-suite bathroom and wc, and Freeview Tv and a superb full breakfast was included in the £50pn charge. I stayed 3 nights. The Pentland was recommended to me by friends some time ago and I now always use it if staying in the Thurso area.The hotel is centrally located and offers good clean accomodation and appears to be properly managed with friendly staff.For dining there is the choice of a formal dining room or the bistro.Have only ever eaten in the bistro... more
