We were delighted with our room , very clean and cosy, modern and very good value for money .The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast superb! Will definately stay again if in the area.Only down side, the receptionist could have been friendlier although the rest of the staff were lovely. more

Excellent room off the courtyard at the back of the hotel; modern and cosy even during the cold weather. Food was very good both nights I ate there. Customer service is excellent - from the packed breakfast to take on the early morning train to sending by special delivery the keys I had left behind!! Well recommended. more

we stayed for three nights, on arrival we were upgraded to an apartment. the staff were all very friendly and very helpfull, in spite of the hotel being very busy due to two coaches that were carrying German and Italian tourists. I've stayed at a few of the hotels around Thurso on business, but the Station Hotel as a good value for money hotel with some character, central location, decent food and a friendly welcome so I'll be using it in future. It has a green tourist award, which is a bonus. more
