Within a mile from Thurso East break. Great staff, clean room and all around lovely place to stay. Had a family room with bunkbeds for 16 year old boys, nice room and great breakfast in the morning. Receptionist and rest of staff were all helpful and kind, will definitely stay again, as a matter of fact, can't wait, the surfing... more

As I followed the entire coast of Scotland, I came across this gem of a hotel. It has all the qualities of an executive hotel, but at an affordable price, yet with great food and fabulous staff. more

I think the young receptionist needs to go on a course. The most unwelcoming person we encountered in the whole of Scotland. Any receptionist that just looks at you, and half nods her head as a way of saying ' What d'ya want?' needs some lessons in manners. How nice it would have been if she had said, ' Welcome... more

Stayed at The Park Hotel for 2 nights, and got a different room on second night as I had only booked for one night originally. On the first night I had a room in the main Hotel and was given a choice of rooms and could go and see them to chose which one I wanted! I let the reception... more

I have for many years travelled on business in Caithness and had to stay in Thurso on many an occasion, I have stayed in nearly all of the hotels available in the town and all have good and bad bad points. However, without doubt in my mind, if you want a well priced, clean and well presented room the Park... more

My family and myself (including two kids) used this hotel for during a trip Thurso for a wedding. The welcome couldn't have been cooler the receptionist barely looked at us, we later discovered this was the owner! We were shown to our two adjacent rooms and after my husband and I settled ourselves we went to see see how the... more

I am shocked at this lady's comments. This family stayed 4 months ago! The hotel was full with wedding guests and as she only booked a week beforehand the arrangement was that 1 room was available and the children would "bunk in" with other relatives even though they had booked 6 months previously. She chose to put her 2 young...

Booked a 3 night stay for a dinner there and a little nervous, not sure what to expect before we got there. Needn't have worried! Reception friendly, room (in main hotel) clean and welcoming, with king size bed we'd asked for. Nice toiletries (Scottish Fine Soaps), large towels (sheets not 'just' bath towels). Little touches like a spray of room... more
