This is the only hotel at John o groats. There is nothing there to see or do, except to catch the ferry to the Orkneys. It is locally owned, and well run, and a fair price for the rooms. 3 of us stayed here at the end of a Lands End to John O'Groats bike ride. There isn't much choice in John O'Groats but this place suited us as we could just walk to the ferry the next day for our day tour of Orkney. We stayed two nights.
