The Guest House was out final stay on out cycling adventure from Lands End to John O'Groats. Mark and Mary where wonderful and looked after us well - from storing our bikes to a wonderful breakfast in the morning (including Scottish pancakes). the rooms and accommodation were first rate. no doubt the best in John O'Groats.

We stopped here for two nights after travelling from Inverness as part of trip for husband's birthday. Mary & Mark are warm, genuine people & you instantly feel very welcome & at home. As non-cyclists it was lovely to meet the other guests, cyclists & non-cyclists alike, & hear stories of their travels which made for a great atmosphere over... More

We stayed in this Guest House for 2 nights last week. The Hosts Mary & Mark were most welcoming on arrival and went out of there way to make sure we had a fantastic break. The food was excellent especially the evening meal which is good value for £15 per head for a 3 course meal. The Rooms were a... More

Really enjoyed staying at the JoG Guest house - rooms are really nicely decorated in a modern style, well equipped and comfortable. Mary and Mark went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us (Mary tracked every step of our charity Lands end to JoG Bike ride and made the finish feel special and Mark made... More

Rooms are fully equipped and decorated to the high standard you would expect in an expensive city hotel, not to mention the beds are extremely comfy! Mary and Mark's hospitality is unrivalled - they instantly make you feel at home... More

After 14 days in the saddle, we could not have dreamt of a more wonderful last night to our adventure! We received an extremely enthusiastic and warm welcome, and Mary cooked us a lovely 3 course meal which we shared with other LEJOG finishers in a relaxed and lively atmosphere! The accommodation was just what we needed after the long... More

Stopped in having not booked any accommodation. Very welcoming and luckily had a room spare. Mark and Mary are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable bed. No too far away from the 'town'. Very nice breakfast.

After having finished our end-to-end tour we rested at Mary's and Mark's Guest House in John O'Groats. The rooms are nicely equiped, clean and quiet. Meals are freshly cooked and delicious. Especially noteworthy are Mary and Mark, whose hospitality maked you feel very welcome. Simply perfect - not only for cyclists.
