Very nice B&B in East Mey. We booked here at a very reasonable price during a tour of the Highlands a couple of years ago. The rooms were nice and clean. Coffee facilties were provided as was "fresh milk" in a flask by the owner. Breakfast was also good. No complaints.

Had 3 nights here before the 2011 Ride across Britain.Very accomodating, allowed our quite expensive bikes to be stored inside and left out a continental breakfast selection for us on the start day. We were up at 5am. Comfortable rooms and full bath. Not far from the Castle pub in East Mey great pub so another plus.!

Clean and roomy accomodation, friendly owners, great sunsets. We had a large family room which was light and airy. Black out blinds are fitted in the skylights which is handy when sunset is at 10.30 and day break at 4 (summer time). Great location for visiting John O Groats, Dunnet head (most Northerly point) the Queen Mum's Castle and the... More

We had a nice stay here. The room was comfortable though a little plain. There was a kettle for making tea. The sun room where the breakfast was served had a beautiful view of the coastline. This guesthouse is very close to the John O'Groats ferry which was convenient for doing a day trip to the Orkney Islands.

My friend and I stayed 4 nights at Creag Na Mara, the room was very spacious and clean and contained a good selection of hot drinks. Our hosts were more than happy to replace anything we ran out of promptly. The conservatory dining area and guest lounge provided wonderful views out over the Pentland Firth and surrounding area. We even... More

we stayed one night at this B & B and although the room was very comfortable my evening meal was inedible but this did not stop us being charged £80.00 which I felt was a bit steep considering.

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. However, we have checked our records and can find no trace of you complaining about your evening meal. We undertook a driving holiday, mainly of Scotland, from Heathrow airport, where we landed and hired a car, up as far north as the Orkney Islands and back again. We stayed primarily at bed & breakfasts found over the internet, checked out via Tripadvisor where possible. Our hosts were very affable when we arrived, and this is one of the... More
