What a place to stay lol. When you go in its a pokey little bar with a guy that grunts when you say hi They have got wifi but you get no signal from him but then he tells you to sit at the window where you can get internet from the hotel across the road which he is more... More

I have been a regular visitor to Beauly for more than 20 years and feel I must redress the reviews given by 'sureshot123' and 'chisolm127'. As far as cleanliness and damp running down walls := absolute nonsense. Faulty wiring :- guest house was completely rewired 2 years ago. (by reputable Inverness firm). As for the dog being let into the... More

I was booked in here for 4 nights ad only ended up staying for 1 because it was that bad. The bed sheets were dirty and didn't look like they had been washed from the last guest that slept there. There was damp running down the walls, the carpets were filthy. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the... More

I was travelling with my husband and two girls aged 11 and 13. And I used to run a B & B in Burntisland for 14 years. This guest house is awful with grotty rooms in the attic, wallpaper peeling, dodgy plug sockets which look really dangerous, really depressing rooms, dont know if we got the worst ones, probably did.... From the second we arrived at Archdale Guest House we were instantly made to feel at home, Rachel and John are the perfect hosts and their beautiful dog was a huge hit with the kids. The B&B itself was very clean and the owners really do give it that special touch, little things like chocolates on the beds and lots... More

Stayed recently and thought Beauly was a charming little hamlet. Enjoyed our Scottish breakfast in the mornings and the owner, Rachel, was very helpful. Had a shared bathroom wich was just okay...always a little weird sharing a bath with strangers. The could be a top notch B&B, but really needs some deep cleaning/updating. It's older and shows it's age and... More

Don't be put off by the entrance in the pub and the big dog, behind it is hidden a cute B&B, with clean and confortable rooms. You have the possibility to eat dinner in the pub or even bring in your own take away food. The breakfast is nice and the host in the morning is very knowledgeable about the... More
