We stayed at Ravenscraig after reading such good reviews about it, and we weren't disappointed. We were 2 familys consisting of 4 adults and 4 children and we stayed in 2 of the lodges out the back and were very impressed with them. They were very bright and warm and tastefully decorated. The shower room was spacious and supplied well... more

My teenage daughter and I stayed here our first night before beginning the Speyside Way the next morning; we had a nice warm welcome, and a great breakfast to start us out right. Certainly one of the best hot showers you will ever have in a B and B. more

We have used Ravenscraig for many years as a home from home while doing fieldwork in the Highlands, from Glasgow University. However our latest visit, last week, suggests they have upped their game. For the grand total of 90 quid for three of us for the night (an international crew: Scotland, Mexico and Kuwait) , we got lovely rooms, I... more

stayed at this guest house for my birthday, we had been given a smart box for xmas so decided to go to aviemore. We were given a complimentory bottle of wine and a basket of fruit, both of which were very good. The owners were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our room had gorgeous views over the cairngorm... more

This is an excellent B & B in Aviemore. We stayed here on our third night cycling from Glasgow to Inverness. We were given a warm welcome and given a place to store our bikes. The rooms were large and the ensuite was fantastic. It was like a room in itself. The guest house is situated on the main Aviemore... more

Was lucky to find this one! Aviemore is full of B&Bs, but was lucky enough to get into this one. The B&B is composed of rooms in the main building and a number of chalet style buildings outside. The chalet we were in was very clean and generous in size, with very modern furnishings. Was welcomed by the proprietor who... more

We won't bother with all the great things about this B&B as they've been mentioned in other reviews and they're all true. Fantastic place. The only problem we had - which may not affect many others - is the location. It's on Aviemore's main road which means there's traffic going on day and night. Since we like to leave the... more

My Husband and i stayed from 10th to 13th April 2009. As this was the Easter holiday weekend the Guesthouse as was Aviemore itself....busy. Jill who is one of the owners greeted us upon arrival, showed us the lounge and breakfast room then escorted us to our room. We had a chalet to the back of the main house, peaceful,... more

We have just returned from 'The Ravenscraig Guest House' and canot say enough good about it, from the super clean room to the peace and quiet, to the lovely friendly owners and their staff. The breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly go back to this gorgeous establishment to get away from it all. It... more

stayed late january for a skiing weekend. the place itself was lush, the people were dead friendly & it was an excellent location as a base for skiing, as the bus stop was right outside which went to the cairngorm ski area on the hour which was very very handy. also had a ski storage area right by the front... more
