I stayed for 3 nights in October 2014. Warm welcome and a very comfortable and clean guest house. Only a five minute walk from the centre of Aviemore. The breakfast was great with a varied choice available. The room was excellent and very comfortable. I would certainly stay at The Ravenscraig Guest House again in any future stay in Aviemore.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ravenscraig over New Year. We had one of the chalet-style rooms, which has its own entrance. The beds were extremely comfortable, the selection of teas, coffee and biscuits great, and the shower powerful and with plenty of hot water. The breakfast were second to none, with polite, helpful staff attending to us. We... More

Stayed for 3 nights just before Xmas and the room was very nice with ideal facilities. The guest house was very nicely decorated and the welcome we got was fantastic, as was the service throughout our stay. Breakfast was very nice each morning with a great selection of cooked and non-cooked food. The location of the guest house is perfect,... More

Went here last month with my boyfriend for a little mountain getaway. Loved the charm of this guesthouse. Had nice conversations with the friendly owner. Room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed in one of the chalet rooms and even had our own entry. When we arrived the housecat was staking out the room to check on the new arrivals,... More

Very comfortable stay in one of the chalet rooms at the rear of the building, couldn't have asked for more. Clean, friendly, warm and cosy, with car parking in front of chalets. Lovely sitting in the lounge relaxing, after returning from our evening meal, with the log fire burning. Within easy walking distance of several eating places. Lovely breakfast served... More

Went back for a short break, very comfortable and cosy, with warm clean rooms, friendly people and a good choice of breakfast menu. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafe/bars nearby, also many outdoor climbing and skiing shops nearby.

Returned recently from a weekend with my family in Aviemore for a wedding. Ravenscraig Guest House was wonderful. The chalet type rooms to the back were ideal as we used the 5 rooms all ensuite and each nicer than the one before, great facilities for my sister-in-law who is disabled. Breakfast was second to none, short walk to the shops,... More

My husband and I have stayed at this B&B before (not reviewed though). We stayed in a double chalet room in the back area separate from the house. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and it has all the basic essentials that you need. Where this B&B excels is the breakfasts. The porridge is some of the best... More

Just returned from a short break at Ravenscraig. One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. We had a chalet room at the rear of the main house, lovely, very quiet and plenty parking spaces. Breakfasts were great, lots of choice, my favourite was pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. What really made our stay was the staff, Extremely friendly,... More
