Stayed at the B&B in early August 2014 with my family. It's wonderful that they have family rooms available - effectively a small cottage. One room with twin beds and the other with a Queen/King. Main bathroom as you enter the hallway and a second en-suite to the twin room. Excellent hosts and lovely, friendly service. Delicious selection of cereals... More

We stayed here for a night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rubber ducks in the bath tub were a great touch! The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast itself was delicious! It is in a great location in the highlands in central Aviemore. Unfortunately we struggled to get the internet to work though.

Really nice stay. The owners clearly take pride in running this place. Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was very good and service was great. Overall very good value for money and would definitely stay again. Good location too just 10 minutes walk from Aviemore train station.

This was our first ever visit to Aviemore and we were somewhat confused on accomodation. Through the Trip Adisor we decided to book at the Ravenscraig guesthouse.......and we did not regret it!! Jill & Jonathan and their staff are simply the best. They made sure that their house is ours. We were accomodated in one of their chalets and both... More

Wonderful and cozy hotel right in the heart of Aviemore. Owners are exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast is tasty and abundant. Rooms are clean and relatively spacious. A delightful place to stay if you're headed into Cairngorm.

My friend and I were booked here by Contours as part of the Speyside walk from Buckie to Aviemore, and we loved it. The place is immaculate with little attached cottages, away from traffic noise. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The hostess made us feel very welcome and gave us great recommendations about things to do in town.... More

Our spacious and modern chalet accommodation with ensuite was ideal for our needs while we stayed in lovely Aviemore. Our host, Jonathan, was extremely kind, helping us with early breakfasts before we left for birding, distance running, or mountain hiking outings--even driving us to the train station, and entertaining us with local lore. The breakfasts that Jill, Jonathan, and staff... More

Everytime we travel to the Highlands staying at the Ravenscraig is a MUST. And, once again we weren't disappointed. After receiving a warm welcome and shown to our cosy room (we've been lucky enough to be given different rooms on every visit and they are all as quaint as each other), we relaxed with a board game in front of... We stayed here for one night of our honeymoon. Good points: The breakfast was decent The actual look, layout and cleanliness of the room was fine It is a central location They provide one dressing gown in a room for two - half way there! The bits I'd like to forget: The room was so hot, it was unbearable. We... More

I am so sorry that you had such a bad experience staying at the Ravenscraig. Unfortunately we were away for a few days at the time of your stay but only wish we had been there so we could have handled the situation differently. As I'm sure you can see from past reviewers - we pride ourselves in trying to... More

The service and breakfast were great. We had a double room on the street side and it was louder than preferred since we had to keep the window open to cool the room. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. Thicker curtains on the windows would be nice to block the early morning sunrise (430am). The... More
