Just returned from Aviemore staying at the McDonald Highland resort in the Aviemore Inn hotel. Booked via MacDonalds web-site as they were offering room only for just £19.99. You get what you pay for. The whole MacDonalds resot is a million years away from the run-down area that were on the site just a few years ago . Then it was very much a 1970's place with simlar entertainment. Registration is at the main reception. Room was clean but very hot. The lift broke down on the Saturday and was not repaired by Sunday check out - a problem for anybody with a disability.
