We had a weekend break staying in the Four Seasons - reasonable price at £90 Dinner, B&B (breakfast was fantastic) for Hubby & I plus our 2 year old. Location is great as you are right in the centre of Aviemore and local shops, pubs, etc. The staff seemed to be mostly foreign but friendly, helpful and proffessional. I think... more

This resort is huge, several different purpose-built hotels within one resort. It's right in the heart of Aviemore village so location is good, but the resort is souless. The rooms are like any other rooms in a chain hotel - you could be in any hotel, anywhere in the world. They are comfortable, well presented, clean, not overly spacious etc...... more

Stayed at the Aviemore Inn on the Resort for 3 nights in early Feb. We had booked a suite and were not disappointed. When we were walking towards reception with our luggage, a passing member of staff stopped and offered us a lift to the main reception ! The bathroom was a little dated but clean and tidy so no... more

We Stayed in the Acadamy Hotel for Christmas with our 2 children (13 & 8) We found staff very friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. The whole experience was magical with the mulled wine, santa, twinkling lights, carol singing and fantastic surroundings even the bagpipes gave me goosebumps walking from the hotel on the last night. The food was... more

We stayed in the Academy Hotel in between Christmas and New Year on the Twixmas break with our two year old son. After reading previous reviews I was a little apprehensive about the resort, however we were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. Having stayed in a number of MacDonald Hotels, I would say that the Academy was quite basic (the... more

We booked via the Hotelclub.net website. Stayed at the MacDonald Highland hotel( 4 star) that shares a main reception with a few other hotels in this resort. On arrival(check-in) you visit main reception which is located centrally for complex and then proceed to your hotel of choice which again offers another reception to cater for further direction\information if required. My... more

Lesiure facilities great and clean. Swimming pool and soft play ideal for children although the flume not always on due to lack of staff.... more

Myself and my husband and son stayed here for christmas. second year in a row. The area surrounding is beautiful and the resort is very easy to find, we were staying in the four seasons as had done the previous year I would recommend you stay here if you want to dine in your hotel. We arrived at noon and... more

My wife and my son booked in for a long weekend to the Four Seasons hotel in October and had one of the worst weekend breaks of our life. We paid £330 for this 'pleasure'. There was a complete lack of information regarding the facilities available in the hotel. The majority of the staff in our hotel were of foreign... more

well there was a party of 12 of us, when we first arrived it was like a maze trying to find what part of the resort we were actually staying in - very rude and unhelpful reception staff - we eventually found our rooms with no help from any staff even though porters were wondering around doing very little and... more
