This was our second stay at the Dalrachney. The hotel has lost none of its charm or quality. We stayed overnight for a visit to see the Cairngorm Reindeer and were delighted with the room (twin bed, one double, one single), food (evening meal and breakfast) and reception. While this is not the cheapest accommodation in Carrbridge for that special... more

Just returned from a second stay at this hotel. Both times we were upgraded from the Coach House to the main house and both times we had lovely rooms. Booked through laterooms.com - £42 for the room (breakfast is extra). If you don't have breakfast in the hotel there is a little cafe in the village whcih seems to be... more

On a recommendation from a friend we took the 3-day romance package in early November. Tremendous value with wine, champagne, flowers, chocs, dinner all-inclusive. Place quite busy with sports shooters. Weather not so good but warm coal/wood fires in Bar and Lounge and hot bedrooms, had to open the windows. The only time you noticed the climate was when the... more

A lovely little country house hotel - well situated for exploring the Highlands. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, the bedroom (Superior) was first class - clean and well decorated with all necessary facilities. The decor of the public rooms was impressive and the nightly coal fires added a homely feel. Not sure that the food was... more

We booked into the Dalrachney Lodge Hotel only a couple of weeks before our stay and managed to get the last room they had available. We were not expecting anything too great as it was the last room and the price was very reasonable. On arrival we were very surprised by the quality of the hotel. The public rooms were... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in one of the superior rooms. The food was great- tasty and very filling. You relax in the lounge and look at the menu then are taken through to either the lounge or dining room depending on how formal you want your dinner. We were in the dining room and had a lovely table... more

We had booked to stay in one of the Coach House rooms but as it was out of season we found ourselves upgraded to stay in the Lodge itself. Lovely room, spectacular view and friendly staff. Although not included in the price of the room the breakfast was well worth £7 per head - fruit juice, fresh fruit or cereal,... more

Recommended by a friend who had stayed at Dalrachney earlier in the year, we took their 3-night inclusive romance package and everything met our expectations and more. I was not aware of trip advisor until recently and felt I had to share our experience. The food and selection range were excellent including wines. We were in a superior room which... more

Booked through reccomendations on this site and they proved to be spot on. Had a really good stay over a weekend - lovely rooms, very attentive service and generally a very friendly welcome. Food was excellent with a choice of two menus. Great setting. Would definately go back. Well worth a visit. more

We sayed here as a party of four for a special weekend in early September. We were not disappointed. The staf were friendly and helpful, the food and service were excellent (I recommend the venison), and our room, and that of our friends, was comfortable and spotlessly clean with a great view (see photo). There was plenty to do in... more
