Excellent service, excellent room, excellent restaurant, excellent value. Food was to a very high standard relative to what was paid and I was happy with my stay. It is true to say there are children everywhere but as a couple we were seated seperately from families in the restaurant and the bar was also child free. It is a family... More

We visited during the busy Easter school holidays but found that the hotel was not geared up for this. For the third year running (so no surprise!) there had been Easter snow which made it particularly busy. The room was comfortable and the facilities generally good. We struggled to get restaurant bookings (even when there was clearly space at the... More

I stayed here with a lot of colleagues for a ball. The rooms were spacious and clean. The facilities on site were great and lots to do for all ages. My husband has food allergies and the staff were very accommodating. Staff were very friendly and relaxed. The food was well presented and very tasty fantastic in fact! The breakfast... More

Stayed during Jubilee weekend having called to see if we could take our dogs, yes it is possible but dont bother if you have a dog bigger than a jack russell.. On arrival faced with a scene more in tune with a busy motorway services. Staff had to remove all moveable furniture from the room so that we could stay... More

The staff we encountered in the hotel were not helpful and were generally sullen and rude. Having to book the restaurant we were told earliest available booking was 8:30pm which wasnt great with young kids (we were dinner bed an breakfast) however it was clear on arriving the restaurant was empty. Similar experience at breakfast as we weren't on the... More

On the positive side, a really good restaurant onsite, which was great for both breakfast and dinner. Also, there are two indoors pools plus an outdoor playground which the kids loved. On the negative side, there is adult-only swim each night at 5:00pm. Why close both swimming pools to children at 5:00? It seems crazy. Also, the coffee shop (Costa... More

We bought a deal offered to us by Hilton of two nights dinner bed and breakfast. We were aware that the hotel is "family friendly" but had not expected it to be quite so over run with children. Perhaps they could be kept out of the raised bar area? However our gripe is with the food and service in the... More

We stayed there as 6 adults and 5 children ranging from 1-14 years old and they all seemed to be plenty entertained for the duration of our stay. Yes the hotel is overrun with children so if you are looking for a romantic stay I would look elsewhere but for us it really was a great stay. Our kids were... More

Went on a 5 night toddler break with my husband and our 5 month old son. This is a fantastic hotel that caters for all sorts of sizes of families. The pool is fabulous - baby pool is separate, warm and quite large. I understand it's due for an upgrade soon, but we didn't notice it was tired. There's loads... More
