Although a 60's type building, this hotel 's rooms were clean and towels fluffy. Nice toiletries were provided. The breakfast was of very good quality with a good selection of healthy options. We ate in the Aspects restaurant which was excellent. Fine dining service and attractively presented food. We were offered Goivannis restaurant along the road as an alternative to... More

I stayed here for six nights while visiting Scotland. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable and the standard you would expect from this type of hotel. The complementary water in the room was not refreshed everyday and the bathroom toiletry where never renewed the whole time I was there. The breakfast consisted of a buffet which had a good cooked breakfast... More

I've read lots of critical hotel reviews on TripAdvisor and have often thought "well it can't have been THAT bad". My wife made me sleep on this one before posting it. Firstly, we had booked an "adapted room" for a disabled travelling companion and had checked in advance that it had a walk-in shower. It didn't. No satisfactory alternative was... More

My husband and I stayed here for six nights while visiting Scotland. The room was large (we had a king size bed) and well furnished also with a sitting area and a flat screen television. Breakfast was included and was very nice. The restaurant on the second floor was also nice for dinner. There is a bar and the staff... More

Dined at Spey Valley Sports Bar restaurant and been treated rudely by one of the chefs named Derrick. The foods were ok but the serving was confusing without labelling of which were mains and which were sides. I then complained to the restaurant manager about the confusion and the chef attitude. Although the manager was helpful enough but failed to... More

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Room was very nice and bed was extremely comfortable and huge. Bathroom was in very good condition, although a little small. Shower was very powerful and easy to operate the temperature. Staff were very nice at reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast was lovely and had lots of variety. Overall a... More

We spent two nights in the hotel, unfortunately we were really disappointed. The hotel rooms are very small and basis urgently require an upgrade. It is a shame as in theory the hotel should work well all the facilities are there but you can't find it! The signage is very poor, the staff lack knowledge and experience. We asked several... More

The resort itself is undergoing a large amount of refurbishment, and this is all over the marketing literature. I hadnt factored in for the fact that still so much of it would be so tired. We were misdirected by several staff members on a number of queries and questions, even down to what time the bar opens! On one occassion... More

Originally chose and booked the newly refurbished Morlich Hotel . A couple of days before we were due to arrive I got a phone call to say we were being "upgraded" to the Highlands Hotel. How this was an upgrade I am not sure as they are both 4*. I find it annoying to choose somewhere and then be put... More

First impressions were good , resort well laid out and grounds kept immaculate .No hassle check in and young man on reception was very pleasant .Room was clean and seemed conducive to having a good nights sleep . Wrong .we were above the boiler house so we had noise all night and the heat was very uncomfortable ,spoke to reception... More
