We had a fantastic family break at Spey Lodge. The house facilities are great for a big party of up to 10 and the immediate access into Rothiemurchas forest made it particularly good for the youngsters. Close to Aviemore for shops, restaurants etc. and other area attractions like Loch Morlich, Wildlife Park etc.

Stayed here for a long weekend this July. Can't fault a thing, beautiful location tucked away in woodland yet only a short drive to all the amenities of Aviemore. Spey lodge itself is amazing, very clean with a lovely large modern kitchen and a view to die for. ( We spotted a deer standing overlooking us whilst eating breakfast one... More

Not often I'm at a loss for words but the accommodation, surroundings and location are amazing. This must be one of the most idyllic spots in Scotland if not in the UK. My husband and I took along our two grandchildren for a long weekend and they loved it. We hired bikes and cycled to loch an Eileen on a... More

Spent Feb half term week there with wife, four kids (aged 6-12) and in-laws (brave, I know) and it is just the best combination of accommodation, location, fittings and price I have come across. We have done Youth Hostels, B&Bs, etc. but this place is the answer. I am loath to recommend it too much as it might mean it... More

Great accommodation - newly renovated property with lovely living area and open plan kitchen, set in the heart of Rothiemercus forest, but only minutes (by car) to Aviemore. Totally secluded with wild-life literally on the door step- we saw a pine martin, fallow deer etc. Great accommodation which has been recently renovated- we felt it gave great value for money....
