Have to admit after booking up I did feel a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews. Thankfully we seemed to have got a refurbished chalet & it was perfect for the three of us. Although the chalet claims to accommodate up to six I think it would be a tight squeeze. All hot water comes from tank and we discovered... More

We visited just before Christmas, whilst we were there snow fell adding to the festive feel. We stayed in one of the terraced lodges although it included everything we needed the place was cold and very hard to warm up. We had the log fire on constantly (you buy your own logs after the first complimentary bag) when we were... More

My family and I paid to use the swimming pool facilities for one week starting 25th June. One Saturday 28th my wife and daughter were in the swimming pool and jacuzzi whilst I was in the adjacent bar area. I was alerted by my wife that something was wrong as she was banging on the windows, trying to get my... More

I spent a week here in July and was delighted with the accommodation and the scenery. My son and I stayed in a Cairngorm villa. We overlooked the 9 hole golf course and we spent most of the week sitting in the Conservatory reading. The whole apartment was spotless and very peaceful. Overall, a very enjoyable week and would certainly... More

This is a large time share resort ,very good self contained accommodation with 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments,it has its own 9 hole golf club ,with a championship course about half a mile away.Excellent clubhouse with swimming pool and gym the restaurant providing good food. This is a great location to visit the Spey valley distilleries and the Cairrngorm Mountains.

I stayed at The Spey Valley Golf & Country Club in a two bedroom chalet with my husband and daughter for three nights. We took our two boxer dogs with us too. We booked the chalet just three days before we were going up, and arrived about 4pm on Friday. The chalet was quite as I expected after looking at... More

":Average" is a generous rating. I was heartbroken when I saw the unit. The rooms are bland, there is no good lighting, old outdated furniture and energy guzzling appliances; and then they had the nerve to charge for electricity usage. The lodgings were a big letdown, and the resort itself is dingy and run down. I didn't use the pool.... More

Family of four had 4 night break at cairngorm villa. High standard of accommodation, exceptionally clean and well equipped. Lovely location, conveniently located. The only disappointing thing was the attitude of the staff-everything seemed to be a bit of an effort for the reception staff. Having never stayed here before we needed some guidance , and we were treated abruptly. Having... More

Stayed here for 4 nights before Easter. Great setting beside the river & we had good weather. The first night we went to the restaurant for a meal. The food was quite good but a bit overpriced. The wine was very overpriced. The "cabaret" entertainment was a joke. A table quiz which consisted of 4 tables. And questions better suited... More
