Great place to stay with Botanics infront of apartments. Georgian building with big rooms and sufficient car parking. Good for the self caterer ,fully equiped kitchen Next door Ambassador hotel is used for breakfast for the early starters. Close to Byers Road with plenty of shops ,resturants and transport. Friendly staff. Will stay again

Having previously stayed at both the Ambassador and Albion Hotels belonging to this group I decided to try the self catering option this time. I had asked to see the apartments last time I was at the Ambassador so went ahead and booked. It was only after that that I looked on Tripadvisor and saw the review about the bed... More

I know several of these reviews have been around the sun a few times, but unless the hotel was torn down and reassembled with completely different staff in the past six months or so, I don't understand the negativity coming out here. Upon arriving, we found a massive, fully restored Georgian or Victorian (I don't know the difference) room, complete... More

These apartments are situated in a nice part of Glasgow, outside the city centre but very close to teh West End. The apartments are opposite the Botanic Gardens which is lovely. BUt that's about where the niceness ends... We have ended up with flea bites or bed bug bites all over our bodies from staying in this place. It looks... More

We stayed in their 'best' room at the front of the building. It was freezing cold (snow outside) and the fan heater in the bathroom didn't work so my toddler had to bath in the cold. They told me that they couldn't do anything about the broken heater until I threatened to complain about substandard living conditions. There is NO... More

There were three travelers from Canada, one adult and two teenagers. The bathroom was damp and no room to put your toiletries (need some sort of shelving) especially when you have three people in a room. Paying for hydro, I feel is inappropriate and just a money making hotel. Furniture and bed linen should be updated. It took three hours... More

We were disappointed with the appartments for the following reasons: - bathroom stunk of damp - shower walls had fungae on them - room was cold, as electric heaters did not warm the place enough, in spite of the fact that we continiously fed them with pound coins. The latter in itself was noticeable extra cost. - bed linen was... More

I would not recommend staying at the Embassy Apartments. We had a wedding party of 15 individuals that stayed at the apartments in early October, 2007, I had looked at the place beforehand and found it looked nice and recommended guests stay there. I am now very embarrassed I made the recommendation and would not suggest staying here. The staff... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2006. On arrival we were shown to a room at the back of the building on the ground floor. Although it was clean it stunk of damp and the bed actually felt damp. This was probably due to the fact the room was small and there was no extractor fan for the... More
