Location and hostess is reason I rated it high actually they are a 5. No problems sleeping at night but the room was quite draughty you need a sweater on insside when you get up maybe if it were normal summer temps it might hav have been better. Pros: subway a few minutes away and a few stops to Buchanan... More

We stayed at the Amdeus for a weekend during the Commonwealth Games. Having lived in Glasgow for 2 years previously we knew the area well but didn't want to pay a fortune for somewhere to base ourselves. We stayed in room 8 which was spacious and really clean. The beds were comfortable and the view was good. Breakfast exceeded our expectations.... More

This B&B is great value for money! At £60 per night we had Room 1, downstairs, a lovely room with an opening window for fresh air at night. The room has a double bed which we find a bit compact for two tall people, but a common find in many places, a TV, tea & coffee making facilities, a very... More

There is one bedroom for rent on the first floor . Our room was three flights up and manageable for us but many would mind the stairs . Our room tiny but clean , comfortable and very quiet to sleep . Wi if can't be accessed in the rooms but can be in the dining room and standing outside the... More

Really great little bed and breakfast near the University and busy Great Western Road. Our first floor room was spacious, with updated bath and comfortable beds and fresh linens. Nicely appointed throughout. The breakfast was quite varied in offerings, and the well-lit dining room was inviting. A bit pricey but well worth it. I would recommend the first floor rooms... More

Lovely townhouse in the west end. Literally 2 mins from kelvinbridge subway station. We had the small double which was cosy but had everything we needed. Nice bright breakfast room with a decent selection of continental style food. Would definitely visit again when in the city.

hi there folks. I stayed at Amadeus off Great Western Road in Glasgow a few years ago and enjoyed it, as I recall .. this time, in tune with the ongoing Celtic Connections, winter, I found my room rather cold esp on rising in the AM, duvet was not much warmth as so thin, minimal light blanket, and then the... Dear guest, Thank you for your review. As we discussed during your stay, the door episode was just a mishap and I feel it unfair to base your rating on this. I also remember that when you came you memtionned yourself that you were seriously under the weather, so this may explain why you felt so cold. All of our... More

6th visit to the Amadeus and it never fails to deliver very comfortable and clean accommodation and an excellent continental breakfast. (Which is particularly welcome when you're on a holiday using different B&Bs and have had huge cooked breakfasts everywhere else ! ) Very helpful staff - an unfortunate mix-up with the online booking was very quickly sorted out with...
