7th stay, always great, and the painstaking and time-consuming “upgrade” carried out in 2014, to what was already a lovely building has really added the cherry to the icing. Plentiful fresh buffet breakfast ( not sure the rolls were “home baked” as per the website, but they were soft and fresh and delicious ). Simply nowhere better to stay in... More

The owner, Alexandra, has beem involved in a gradual renovation of the rooms. My room was lookking great. I throughly enjoyed the cosmopolitan and relaxed atmosphere of The Amadeus. It has a great... Perfect in every way. Suprised by the politeness of the staff. Lovely rooms! Excellent location, delicious breakfast, comfy beds. Decorated with very good taste. Not fancy, just as perfect to make the visitor feel like home.

What's not to like? Comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, welcoming staff. Great value for money too! Best location in the city, but that's a personal point of view! Surrounded by the city's best cafes, restaurants, bars and sights - including parks, museums and the river kelvin.

I stayed here for 2 nights as solo female traveller travelling by overnight train from London so arrived very early ,- before 8am. Excellent transport links for both tube and buses from Glasgow Central Station. They kindly stored my luggage, leaving me free to make the most of my day exploring Glasgow's many museums. Superb buffet breakfast,- very good for vegetarians!t... More

Stayed here at the last minute for a night after a gig at Oran Mor. Nicely decorated, quiet room on the ground floor, with pleasant staff and a good breakfast choice. Really good location for all the attractions of the West End and handy parking passes. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in July. Excellent location with plenty going on and good access to transport. In the process of refurbishment to a good standard and a very good breakfast. No hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

I stayed here a total of 3 nights (at beginning and end of a 3 week vacation). My daughter chose the location for me considering ease of access to the subway and the quality of the surrounding neighbourhood. A great choice- the single room was comfortable, breakfast was plentiful, staff were helpful (carried my bags upstairs, called me a cab... More

I stayed at The Amadeus on a recent trip to visit my daughter studying at Glasgow University and it was ideal. My single room right at the top of the house had a lovely view across The Kelvin river and as the sun was shining for a change it was lovely to wake up and look out in the morning... More

Hi there, Thank you so much for your kind review of our guest house.
