We spent 8 enjoyable nights at the Amadeus. It is very convenient (with a underground station round the corner) and central. The owner/staff were friendly and helpful. There is a generous continental breakfast (including cold meat and cheese) provided. The room we occupied provided an efficient shower, good drawer space and was well provided with lights. However, there were 2 snags.... more

I went to Glasgow for an interview, and needed a quiet and conveneint place to stay. I travelled with my sister, and we arrived at the B&B in the morning. We were greeted by a very friendly staff, who nicely asked us to have the breakfast first. The food was great, they had breads, cereals, yoghurt, ham and cheese, fruits...etc,... more

We went up to Glasgow for a Family Party, so I needed somewhere not too far from Maryhill road. The location of the Amadeus is great just over the road from kelvinbridge tube, it literally took about 5 minutes to get onto Argyll street. Room was clean and tidy on the ground floor, bathroom was a bit shabby as previously... more

I stayed at the Amadeus for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The house is only a couple blocks from the Kelvinbridge subway station and an equal distance to a number of bus routes. The room was a nice size, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good and the people there were more than... more

Stayed in this nice and friendly guest house for one night on a work trip to Glasgow in August 2008. The location is very near Kelvinbridge underground station only a few stations away from Glasgow city centre (no problem). Room was ok, bathroom a bit outdated, breakfast very good and sufficient. I would probably stay in this place, if going... more

Great spot, clean large lovely rooms, close to some very nice restaurants and the subway but didn't realize it until our last day. (our oversignt). Parking is free on the street but it was blocked the whole time we were there but the pub nearby let us park on their lot so we were ok. Friendly staff and good breakfast.... more

It's just a good/average guest house, just a bit dated (as someone else commented), but suitable for a perfect starting point for touring Glasgow. It's very near KelvinBridge subway stop and so it's easy to reach from the center. My room was located at ground floor and it's was tidy and nice. Bathroom so and so. Some problems with the... more

Perfect for our 3 night stay in Glasgow! Room was great for two adults and two kids - clean, stylish, lovely view! Location was great - pleasant walking distance to University of Glasgow & Kelvingrove Museum along the River Kelvin. Right off Great Western with cafes & shops. Definitely check out Landsdown right around the corner! Staff was helpful &... more

The place is a bit dated. We stayed in Room #3 - one double and one single bed. Both are very low and didn't offer much support. I think the property is owned and run by folks from Eurpoe, so the breakfast is great and healthy - not fried bread, fried black pudding, fried eggs, fried bacon, fried haggis, fried... more
