To say the place is filthy is an understatement. Dirty sheets, Yearly clean seems to be the only cleaning it gets and it's covered in dust, holes in the walls and televisions and lights hanging off walls and they don't even work. limescale in the kettle. room and bathroom ridden with damp and blood on the curtains and bedsheets. Regardless... More

I booked my room back on 27th of January in preparation for tonight's Stone Roses gig, I arrived this afternoon with a copy of my reservation only to be told they didn't have a booking for me ( despite me showing my reservation confirmation e-mail ) on top of this they refused to pay back my deposit! I wasn't the... More

The staff member had little english which I found crazy considering it's an english speaking country. He was rude and banged on the door at 10:30am. Check-out time was ridiculous for 10:30 - it should be in line with other Hotels for 12. It was poor value for money. Breakfast only had a 1 hour window from 8-9am! The shower... More

I searched once again through laterooms and couldn't resist the deal. when I arrived I promptly paid the cash and remind them of my previous visit and the bill was settled. the handed over the keys and said... Five irish students of to glasgow, so we didnt mind were we stayed as long as it was cheap, or so we thought we didnt! Here goes: 1) When we arrived at the ''hotel'' we were greeted by a foreign receptionist, who was all smiles when she was getting her money, but her card machine had broke. She then claimed... More

This is a budget hotel at its worst. Stayed there very recently and although I didnt expect a lot for the price you should still expect to get the room cleaned and clean towels every day. Hotel is very tired needs decorated throughout. The shower was not clean and I had to spend sometime cleaning it with anti bacterial cleaner... More

You will note from my previous reviews that I try to be as fair as possible and this will continue in this review. In my honest opinion there cannot be a worse hotel in Scotland. This place makes Fawlty Towers look like the Ritz. On arrival we were told that they do not accept cards so we had to pool... More
