My husband and I had a great stay when we arrived on the Wednesday we were welcomed by a George Clooney lookalike who was extremely charming and polite and of course Handsome he showed us our room which was fantastic and then showed my husband to the car park and guided him in then at breakfast we were greeted by... Stayed with georgian house during the commonwealth games. The property is fantastic value for money - while other hotels in Glasgow set rates sky high to take advantage of the peak, georgian house provided reasonable rates for the budget hotel. The location is the best - so close to Byers road and the transport routes. The property is clean and... More

Note: I am writing this review on behalf of my cousin and her friend, that were visiting me in Glasgow - experience with the hotel itself completely theirs, however I managed the booking and contact with staff ------ With amazing location, just a minute away from Glasgow's Botanic Gardens *great day out in the spring/summer months* and Óran Mor, amazing... A few people have written bad reviews but this place does what it says on the tin. Perfectly comfy bed, hot shower and really lovely staff. Great location right next to Botanical Gardens which are beautiful. Very nice part of town. Staff member even called me day before I arrived and checked my dietary requirements because I'm gluten free and... More

After driving a few hours we arrived in the car park which would hold maybe 4/5 cars if parked properly. There was a big pot hole in the middle, which we could avoid so be careful when driving in. The lady who answered the door was very friendly and welcoming. She took us to our room, which was large, airy... More

We arrived just before 4pm check in time. The lady that answered the door told us that our names weren't on her list of people staying? We produced an email confirmation and she advised she wasn't full so could sort us out a room. Good job they weren't full........... Our room was big and well aired. The bed was clean... More

Could be amazing, excellent position. We had quiet room at the back. Breakfast was disappointing. Towels weren't changed every day, also only given one each, sheets not changed the entire week. A lot of work seemed to be expected from one member of staff.

At £22 per head for a room in central Glasgow our expectations were not high and the absence of anyone to open the hotel door didn't bode well. In the event the hotel was full and we were offered the use of the flat next door. It was lovely- kitchen with a rather odd mezzanine above, a truly enormous sitting... More

Arrived at 18.00 to find nobody at 'home' and stood on the doorstep for an hour waiting for the manager to return... Then given a twin room instead of the double booked... The room in the basement did not have any windows, they were blocked by shutters which i could not open. The bathroom was unclean and the towel like... More

Despite some of the negative reviews we read here we thought we would give it a try as wanted to be near the Byers Road. We were not disappointed from the minute we booked in till we booked out! We found this place spotless, the breakfast was in abundance with lovely quality various pastries/cooked meats and cheese fresh rolls/bread. We... More
