I visited Glasgow for the football match between Scotland v Ireland. All hotel rooms were excessive this weekend and the Willows was no different. Although prices on their website are advertised as £45 per night I was charged £160 but I know all hotels hiked up their prices(supply & demand etc). I had read some bad reviews on Trip Advisor... I know people say with a. Cheap hotel you get what you pay for and what do you expect but I 100% won't be staying here again. To start we were greeted at reception by possibly the most miserable man in Glasgow, we then got to our room, the radiators at the time were off, and the room was freezing.... More

We have now stayed here twice, comfortable nights sleep and ideally located. It's basic but exactly what you need. Staff are all lovely. Breakfast in the morning is great, lots of choice available and delicious. Staff helped us with taxi numbers and any other queries we had.

We stayed one night here and had no complaints. We wanted a cheap and cheerful place to stay for overnight in Glasgow in order to shop and have a night out. We paid £65 for two bed and breakfast via late rooms and we got what we paid for. The room was clean and tidy and bed clean and comfortable.... More

I stayed here with my sister and her husband the rooms were basic but clean in need of updating. The curtains were tatty and hung up back to front !I The gentleman on reception was very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was very good with some choice. Ideally placed for the theatres and shops in a very quiet street.Would not have wanted... More

The rooms were pretty icky (dirty & unkempt); the staff at the front desk frightened me (I was afraid to ask for anything); the WiFi was terrible. However, it was affordable and it was Scotland. I love Scotland, so I didn't mind the poor accommodations much.

Really need to retrain the cleaners. The carpet in our room looked as if it had not see a Hoover for quite some decades. There were specs of what I believe was human excrement on the bathroom wall. The bedroom furniture had hair over it. The male receptionist was shockingly rude when I asked for help logging onto wifi (which... More

My husband and I stayed here with our friends and were very disappointed. Our room was smelly as was the man in reception! The rooms were awful, the carpet was dirty and hairy, the bedding was clean but had holes in them and the mattress felt like it was a hundred years old!! The springs were visible!! We had to... More

I stayed at this Guest House last night with two friends. We didn't book in advance and 30£ per person with breakfast sounded reasonable for us. The room had two single beds and one double bed with a shower and toilet - all nothing really special (which was fine as we didn't look for something fancy). Breakfast was average with... More

When I read the other reviews I am shocked at the comments. We stayed at this guest house for 6 days during the commonwealth games under stressful circumstances with my husband and a friend in desperate need of accommodation when I was rushed to hospital following a 24 hr flight. The staff showed concern for our situation and were very... More
