Being world weary from extensive business travel and identikit bedroom factory hotels, the Alamo was a breath of fresh air. My friend and I stay in a standard double bedroom. The room is well decorated with a comfy bed. It's not en-suite but the bathroom is just next door and have a REAL bathtub. What a wonderful stay. Steve was immediately very welcoming and helpful. There is no car park but onstreet parking is free after 6pm midweek and all weekend, and if you need to park during weekdays the Alamo have parking permit tickets which cost £4 per day. There is free wifi, and you can borrow a laptop if you need to.... more
