I had a lovely, comfortable, relaxing time with Emma, Steve and the staff of the Alamo Guest House.Excellent location - close to The Kelvingrove Museum and Park, the many excellent restaurants in The West End with easy subway and bus links to the city centre. I hope to return again, very soon.

We stayed for 3 days at this lovely B&B. Steve and Emma were very helpful in recommending and booking restaurants, giving directions, providing us with a converter when ours gave up, and lots of other good things. The location is very good, walking distance to restaurants, the Art Gallery and University, and bus stops and tours. Breakfast was good and... More

I stayed for one night at the Alamo Guest House before a business meeting at the University of Glasgow; my wife came with me to see Glasgow. Both of us enjoyed the beautiful decor, fine furnishings and antiques at AGH. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the proprietors were very friendly and helpful (as was their cat, who greeted... More

Fantastic B and B. The owners Emma and Steve provided a warm friendly welcome and even the cat had incredible manners! My single room was clean, tidy and had plenty of space. The shared bathroom facilities were spotless throughout my 4 night stay with plenty of hot water and bubble bath. Breakfast was lovely, Steve\'s porridge making skills were spot... More

I had the pleasure to stay at Alamo Guest House for almost three weeks and I was spoiled rotten by Steve and his family. Breakfast was delicious, my four poster bed big and comfy and the atmosphere was homey and friendly. Good restaurants and nice walks around the corner. I'm definitely coming back!

"The Alamo Guest house is well situated and oozes character. My wife and I stayed in room twelve over looking the park.Steve and Emma plus their staff could not do enough to make our stay special."All the restaurants recommended on Steve and Emma's website were spot on. Recommend a visit to the Corinthian in the city centre too.
