This B&B is a bargain for the price, our room was very spacious with a tv and a dvd player. they have a laptop with internet available for use and a big collection of DVD to borrow. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well! more

I certainly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this amazing guest house. There was nothing that could be improved on. The hospitality is second to none and the accomodation spotlessly clean. There was a great choice of items for breakfast and the fresh fruit and coffee very tasty. I would have no reservations in recommending the Alamo to anyone wanting... more

Steve and Emma, You truly have the best B&B that we have stayed at. Everything we read that is good about The Alamo is true ..... and more. It was very comfortable and the location cannot be bettered. There is really little else to add to all the accolades so far. A million thanks from John & Shirley Nathar more

I have recommended this hotel to all my friends already! This must be the best place I have stayed in for a long time. Someone has mentioned this before in a review, but i don't unbderstand why this Hotel is only 3 stars, as I've stayed in 4 star hotels which aren't a patch on the Alamo. Thank you for... more

We really enjoyed our stay there: the whole place, from the bedroom (spotless, clean, tidy, and very nicely furnished, with a great digital powershower) to the dining room (beautiful celings!) was full of thoughtful and smart touches (from the huge FREE dvd collection to the breakfast buffet, relaxing bathtub etc etc). Steve is a great host and so is everyone in there.... more

What a great surprise! Located beautifully on Kelvingrove Park, with beautifully furnished rooms, great share bathrooms, showers and toilets - all immaculate. Steve was so welcoming and helpful,.The breakfasts were great with lots of fruit, yoghurt etc as well as bacon and scrambled eggs. It was just a lovely experience staying here - and prices very reasonable. The airport bus... more

This is deservedly the most popular guest house in Glasgow, and Stephen's plans for even more improvements will no doubt keep it there for many years. One thing I would say is, don't despair if the only room left is not en suite! We stayed in the lovely large room at the front which would have been the drawing room... more

Very well situated for Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery, Transport Museum, and Rennie Mackintosh House etc, but close to very regular bus routes into the city centre. Our room was smallish but beautifully decorated, and had great TV reception. It had a good en suite bathroom with a power shower, a little short of storage space and but no problem.... more

You get a very warm welcome at the Alamo and the b&b is in a great location easy enough to walk into the centre of Glasgow. The rooms are individually decorated and the whole place has loads of character and charm. I did know that the room I booked wasn't ensuite and thought it would be fine but on reflection... more
