I stayed here for business as it was only a short distance from the office I was visiting - the hotel smells really bad of fish. Bothwell Bridge Hotel isn't exactly a Malmaison-type hotel, but the place is clean from reception to the restaurant through to the room we got. It was spacious and neutrally decorated.
