We had a terrible journey from Cornwall to Glasgow, non-stop accidents and roadworks. We were looking forward to a good meal in the adjoining pub, but such was the traffic we didn't arrive until about 10PM after they had finished serving food. Fortunately we had phoned ahead and the very nice lady offered to sort us some baguettes. On arrival, finally, we were exhausted, but were given a very warm welcome by the receptionist. We were efficiently checked in and we went to the rooms which were comfortable and very clean. The rooms do exactly what they say. No particular luxuries but they are comfortable and to be fair superior to a lot of far more expensive paces we hace stayed. The rooms are also very spacious with good sized bathrooms. Shortly afterwards our baguettes were delivered to our room, and after popping down to the bar to get a couple of pints the woes of our journey were quickly forgotten.
