I stayed here before starting the West Highland Way because absolutely everything in Milngavie was booked out for a bank holiday. In retrospect, I was glad everything was booked out because it was a great introduction to Scotland and one of the best, if not the best place I stayed during my month in Great Britain. We spent 4 nights at Tambowie in 2008 and hopefully will return in October 2009. The accommodation is really good with a wonderful breakfast and every possible comfort. Great B&B 20 minutes outside Glasgow yet in the heart of the country. We had the best veiw we have to date and Irene was a joy to deal with. more

Anyone looking for a wonderful B&B to stay at whilst in Glasgow should go here. It's Tambowie Farms B&B. Just outside of Glasgow proper(north west area). Near Milngavie(pronounced Mullgai), and Bearsden. It's the best. Nice place, beautiful views........about 10 miles from Loch Lomond and a 20 minute drive into downtown Glasgow and the airport.
