I stayed at the crowwood last week on business as it was one of the more reasonably priced hotels in the area. (credit crunch and all!) The rooms were clean and the staff pleasant. We got a night D.B.B as a Christmas gift. Receptionist lovely and cheery. Great room, spotless. Warm. 2 seater couch. Good TV on wall. Tea, coffee and shortbread. Big kingsize comfortable bed. The Halo Crowwood House Hotel surpassed our high expectations and it was all that we would expect from a good 4 star hotel From our arrival to our departure the Hosts and Management were excellent. The service from the staff at the Crowwood was excellent where they would happily go out of their way to help, the rooms where very comfortable and warm which was a relief with the weather. The prices where very reasonable and the meals where superb, overall I would say this is a great place to stay. more
