stayed here on Friday 13th Feb to attend a party. We were a bit apprehensive because of some of the reviews on here but we couldn't fault a single thing. We asked for 2 of the upgraded rooms and the staff obliged us with that, the only downside was that 1 of the rooms really smelled because someone had been smoking in it... I stayed at this hotel over the weekend.First impressions were really good. Check in was greeted with nice friendly staff. Room was good size and generally clean although found sweets and sweet wrappers on the floor. Beds were huge (2 single beds pushed together). Started going downhill when we ordered room service, something that should be simple to cook. Haggis... More

Would just like to thank everyone at the crowwood for everything they don't for us last night at out engagement party. They looked after us and have gave us everything we needed and more. The staff were on hand the full night and pulled out all the stops to make our night so special. The Buffett was amazing especially the... More

Used as a base for a small business meeting. Staff on arrival at reception and providing refreshments across the day were excellent - very friendly and could not do enough for us so credit where credit is due. The meeting room was attached to the bar area so a tiny bit of noise travelled. But at a very reasonable price... More

i have been regularly staying here since September 2014 and I think this hotel is better than the best western down the road. The beds are comfy the showers are great and the staff are really friendly and have been since day 1. Whenever I am working in Glasgow this is where I ask to be put. Rooms 20 to... More

Just returned from a good friends wedding reception. The hotel was warm friendly and inviting. Good food and very attentive staff. The only negative was that on the notice on the back of the bedroom door it said there was a lift facility however the duty manageress informed us of no such lift. Being partially disabled this was a minor... More

My niece and husband had her wedding at the Crowwood in October this year, the wedding itself was a lovely day, however was tarnished when we discovered gift cards had been removed from their wedding post box. We contacted the police and the hotel immediately and video footage of the day was provided by the Hotel to the local Police... More

Thank you for your comments. May I say this incident is extremely distressing for every member of the team here at the Crowwood Hotel as we are at a loss as to how any of the cards could possibly go missing from the postbox in the function room? Patricia please be assured that I share your concern and disappointment that... More

The plus points for this hotel are: It's cheap. There's a bus stop right outside with an express bus that will get you into the centre in 12 minutes. It's clean Massive bed Quite a powerful shower Free good strength wifi .......The not so good points: It's a bit dated with some worn out fixtures and fittings. There is no... More

Alarm bells should have rung when we were told we had to pay up front when checking in, never had to do this before, is this to prevent people refusing payment for a terrible experience? The hotel was smelly, like a pre regulatory retirement home. The corridor on the way to the bedroom was strewn with bits of paper and candle... More
