I stayed at the Artto Hotel for 8 nights and was really impressed. It is a small unpretentious hotel in a very central location opposite the station and a taxi rank. For the very reasonable price - compare the Radison Blu just round the corner - you cannot expect luxury but the hotel was clean and perfectly adequate in my... More

Brilliantly located for Central Station. HUGE room, (could've jogged round it). Staff friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a very quiet hotel choose somewhere else or a room at the back. Despite double glazing you still get some street noise that goes with such a central location, but not enough to disturb a night's sleep.

From start to finish they did not disappoint in making the whole experience just awful...upon arriving we asked if it was possible to check into our room slightly early and we got a definite no...after some persuasion letting the lady know we needed to as we were doing a charity run later that afternoon and needed somewhere to change she... Right opposite central station, this hotel is easy to find and very conveniently located. The staff were all very friendly. The room was clean, quite spacious with nice bedding and bathroom, but there was a lot of noise from bars across the road from the hotel which didn't bother us, but it might be wise to book elsewhere if you're... I had a single room with ensuite. The room I had was very tiny. The ceilings were slanted too so that in some places you could accidentally bang your head (coming from a 5'9 guy). Toilet was also very small. The shower room floor was scruffy. And when I say scruffy, the floor was chipped and scrapped away, made it... More

Avoid like the plague! A friend and I have just had the misfortune of staying here. The hotel has a foul stench which is dreadful. The room was dirty.... stained carpets, walls, nets and curtains. Blood splattered on the radiator. Bathroom soiled. Faecal matter in the toilet bowl. Thick dust on the skirting boards and window ledges. Absolutely stomach churning. Do NOT... More

I stayed here on business. There is nothing specifically wrong with the place. Although it was a bit odd eating breakfast in the Indian restaurant. My room was functional but that's all the control arm for the tap was missing, but a minor issue in truth. Staff were very friendly. In truth I booked as a colleague was staying, for... More

I picked the Artto Hotel because it was opposite to Central Station and it gave me the easy access I required. The lounge area gave a nice cool environment something I was going to appreciate in the next couple of days with the hot weather in Glasgow. I had an upper floor room but found sleeping difficult over the period... More

I was in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games and the ‘People Make Glasgow’ slogan was posted everywhere. And it is the people who make the Artto. The staff are wonderful, every one of them. I stayed three nights there and found it to be a great little hotel. First impressions were good when I emailed to ask if I could... More
