I arrived at 8.30pm to be told that my room was not ready as the occupants had not checked out yet and they couldn't tell me when they were going to! I was offered a free dinner in the restaurant, which was a nice gesture but didn't really make up for not being able to enter my room after a... More

Had a great 2 night stay here the weekend before the commonwealth games. Staff were all friendly and very efficient at all times. Had a room on the third floor which looked straight on to platform one of central station. This was not a problem because there was plenty going on to see, but no disruptive noise due to the... More

We stayed at Jurys the weekend before the Commonwealth Games started. We were given a fantastic welcome. The reception staff must be some of the friendliest we've come across. We were given some little lollipops and some discount vouchers - for the restaurant and the coffee shop too which was a nice touch The staff everywhere in the hotel were... More

Only spent one night here, but I couldn't fault the customer service. Check in was quick and efficient. My room was a good size - well designed and laid out and spotless. Unfortunately, the walls seemed rather thin and I could hear not only the next room's radio, but also their (very loud) singing. I went to reception and mentioned... More

Extremely well presented hotel with very friendly staff. We arrived for an overnight the weekend before the Glasgow Commonwealth Games started and so the reception desk was extremely busy. We were checked in extremely quickly, given both our rooms (which were immaculate) next door to each other and had absolutely no complaints about our accommodation. Fantastic location just off Glasgow's... More

When we arrived at the hotel, the place was lovely and clean, looked quite fancy. Check in is 12pm but we arrived at 10am and our room was ready so we were glad. Reception were friendly and efficient. We were in room 423 which was a nice room, bed was comfy, view was ok, amenities were good. The only issue... More

We got a triple room facing right to the train station, quite at same level of the rails, and it was absolutely silent. There are two double glass windows so the noise really can't bother you. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom was perfectly sized and we were allowed to stay one hour longer than the check out hour... More

We stayed here for a night before a wedding and I'd paid extra to stay in one of the superior rooms, the perks included was a free coffee, late checkout and a nicer room. I can't complain about the room, it was spotless and provided us with everything we needed, it was just a shame I had paid extra but... More

the problem with this hotel is its location-it is in the seedier part of town. other than that it does ok- it has negotiated a reduction in the nearby car park but has no porters to help unload. Breakfast is extra and it is good but is £11+. Rooms have everything but on day 1 our room was not cleaned... More
