Great location very central, rooms good size and beds comfy, bathrooms spotless. Only down side is the cleaning staff knocking on every door on the floor at 8.20am each morning saying sorry maid service. Doors slamming as guests not happy. Decor starting to look a little scruffy, but, understand closing for refurb soon. Overall will be back.

We stay at this hotel most of the time when we are in Glasgow. It is well located, for walking in to the City Centre and has a good selection of Restaurants, pubs etc all within walking distance. The hotel suffers from the high footfall, in that some areas are starting to appear tired and worn, in terms of décor.... More

Was a brilliant stay . Staff were so friendly but I got told complimentary slippers were there and was none . I was really looking forward to then . Also the breakfast was not fully organized as they were no cups for drink and the egg taste like it had been fried in water the best thing were the mushrooms... More

We visited Marks Hotel this weekend. We upgraded to the seventh floor upon arrival. It is a hotel of three parts, the rooms, the staff and the breakfast. Firstly the staff are excellent and very friendly with the Restaurant team(breakfast) seriously overworked. The room we had enjoyed a nice rooftop view of the city with ceiling to floor windows. The... More

I stayed here as I was working in Glasgow. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly (front desk welcome, check in and check out, breakfast staff and room service staff). I was impressed at the quality of the food and the selection of dishes on the menu, both starters and mains as well as desserts. Room service consistently delivers within... More

I stayed here in November and I was very impressed. The rooms are gorgeous, well decorated and feel really comfortable. I would recommend this for business, holiday and even for a romantic weekend away. Close to the city centre and only about half an hour in a taxi from the airport. Breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were all pleasant... More

Liked this hotel. Spacious rooms and good food in restaurant but don't expect a good night's sleep if you happen to get rooms on wrong side of hotel as there is a bar/nightclub nearby with loud thumping music till wee hours. It kept us (and probably most others on our side of hotel) awake till 3am. Shame as I would... More

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay with us. I'm terribly sorry this was hampered by the noise outside. I'm afraid you stayed on the night of the Scotland v Ireland football game which in itself created a very busy city centre. Unfortunately the rooms at the back of our hotel overlook a lane... More

When walked in I feel in love the reception area is so nice and looks very posh. We had booked through lastminute.com as a secret hotel and didn't think it would be as nice as it was. We were told we got a free upgrade to the pent house which was lovely very high though (well for me) it was... More

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay and that the upgrade to a suite had such a positive impact, the fantastic view over our city from those rooms is spectacular.
