Great location for hydro but that was all, in queue checking out and people in front were asked how their stay was but when it came to us didn't even get a smile, room was ok, breakfast was awful, poor quality, no butter for toast, not very organised, didn't sleep as sun shining in room from 4am, no blackout curtains... we stayed at the campanile hotel as it was reasonable prices and close to the convention with our breakfast included bedroom was above average and nothing wrong with it except the cupboard space for hanging clothes is limited to a 2 or 3 night stay for 1 person but other wise a good deal for the price the breakfast was... I booked this hotel for one night in August 2014. I've stayed in Campaniles before and this one I think is one of their best. Fairly basic but spotless room, and has tea making facilities with a twist! The most you'll get is one and a half cupfuls of water as it's ruddy difficult to get the kettle under the... More

We booked this hotel as we couldn't get a room at any of the other hotels in the area. The staff were okay, not the best we have encountered. The rooms were very basic, beds were very comfortable though. Thought it was extremely expensive for what it was. We wanted a meal in the restaurant which was very rowdy &... More

Stayed here for one night passing through Glasgow, it was in an OK location and the price was pretty standard. Room was clean and we weren't expecting much more. The problem was the NOISE in the AM. Started around 7am, which for someone looking to rest up before renting a car and driving north was far too early. People were... More

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was close enough to city center to walk, but far enough away for peace and quiet. I definitely recommend to any great buddy trip.

We had the misfortune of popping in here for lunch during the Commonwealth games. The service in general was very good but that's the only positive from the whole experience. The first issue was when they tried to bring my main out with starter and when I queried this they said they would put it back into the oven until... More

If you want city centre do not book this hotel it is a 30 minute walk to city centre and we don't walk slow. If you are not bothered about location and want to see museums then it is better located for kelvinhall musuem which you could walk to.

Decided on a last minute overnight in Glasgow and booked this hotel. Just okay just about covers it. Reception ok. Room ok, scuffed walls, carpet coming up in sections in room. Clean enough, basic but served a purpose. We had to request hand towels as the hotel don't do them as standard so got 4 bath towels. Not somewhere to... More
