A friend and I stayed here for 1 night to go to a gig at the SECC. The Campanile is in a great location for the SECC. On checking in the receptionist was unwelcoming and looked at us as if to say why are you here. We were not given any information as to where breakfast was, what time it... more

Stayed here in a twin room and very clean room and comfortable beds. Stayed here for 1 night for going to a concert at the SECC. We had the buffet style breakfast which was decent and set us up for the journey home. We also used the bar after our concert which was fine. Would stay again for SECC, within... more

Stayed here for one night to see a show at Secc and was pleasantly surprised having read some of the earlier reviews. Though the room was small it was adequate for our needs. The beds were very comfortable and the heating system was working fine on what was a very cold evening. These were both commented on negatively in previous... more

I booked two separate stays as part of the £1 a night promotion. On both occasions, I found the staff I dealt with to be friendly and efficient. The rooms were basic but clean. Free car parking was a definite bonus as was the free WiFi service. On the second stay, we were allocated a disabled room on the 1st... more

We stayed in Glasgow for two nights over the festive period, booking the room for the bargain price of £1 a night which was fantastic value, we even felt a bit guilty. The hotel is located near the SECC arena and at first I was worried about not being in the centre but a train station is located within a... more

The hotel in Glasgow is ok if do do not expect too much. The bed is too weak and I experienced quite some backpain. The heating system is insufficient in winter times. Besides that the hotel personel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is standard UK. For a couple of days in Glasgow the hotel is ok, but not much... more

Having read other reviews about unhelpful staff I wasn't too sure what this hotel would be like. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean and secure. The rooms were fine with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. I did not eat in the hotel, apart from breakfast and it was good. I met receptionist staff when I checked... more

Was there with spouse to attend the Homecoming Live concert at SECC at the end of Nov 09 we booked for 2 nights. Chose this hotel at it is walking distance to the exhibition hall. The location was ok, 15-20 minutes walking distance to the city centre for the shopping and nightlife and the River. One thing that really irritate... more

Everything about the room was fine in it's self. The biggest let down was the Restaurant. We were served burn't dried out Hamburger which we couldn't eat and it was obvious the staff didn't want us to be there. 7 pm must be too late for the staff at this Hotel. Front reception staff could not all speak English so... more
