Stayed here for one night. Prebooked through the Campanile website at a rate of £45 bed and breakfast. The hotel is around 25 minutes walk to the city centre alongside the old A8 and is well located (a taxi from Glasgow Central at 12.30am was £4). Plenty of free parking and although our room looked out onto the main room,... more

Have stayed at the Campanile more than once as it is very handy for the SECC, Clean and comfortable rooms, nice staff. Great Asian restaurant next door in the rotunda called Yen but would suggest you book in advance as it is very popular. Have not dined in the hotel but drinks are reasonably priced, although the bar closes early... more

Campanile hotel has very clean rooms, nice helpful staff, great service! Though slightly higher priced as compared to similar hotels in USA, I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Glasgow. more

The hotel is relativly new about 6 or 7 years now and the food is very good (to be expected from a french hotel) the rooms clean, the reception were good and the manager Elaine was extremly helpful and very good with people. I normally regard myself as a bit of a nuisance when it comes to hotels but nothing... more

Was on a business trip, tried to book usual hotels but couldn't persuade boss to pay extra in currenct climate - tight wad, but was pleasantly surprised at how good the hotel was given the price compared to other hotels in the area, copuldn't fault anything. Will be staying here on further business trips. :o) more

Was looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to the SECC, this was a 2 minute walk away and was reasonably priced; hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, 5 minute taxi from the centre of Glasgow also at a budget rate, breakfast was good, rooms not the biggest but not pokey either, perfect for just sleeping in when on... more

We booked this hotel because of the close proximity to the SECC, it's 2 minutes walk door to door which is ideal. The hotel itself is just what we expected, very basic but sufficient for our one night stay. Our room was not ready when we arrived which didn't bother us as we wanted to have a bite to eat... more

We thought our Hotel would be near the City Center. Unfortunately we pulled into a post economic section of town which had a gritty look. The Hotel interior needed a good cleaning and repainting where all the luggage has marked up the walls. Our room wasn't much better. Cracked furniture, electrical plugs that wouldn't hold a power cords and a... more

I booked the Campanile on the internet and got a deal for £29 bed and breakfast. I was in Glasgow for some meetings. The Campanile had been recommended by a colleague. Secure free parking with plenty of spaces. A location near central Glasgow for twenty nine pounds? You wonder what you're going to get. But the only thing cheap about... more
